Nebraska woman sues all homosexuals

Don't forget that we have government owned media too (eg, NPR), & they don't bite that hand which feeds them.
All news sources should be viewed in the context of competing sources with different biases.
Personal experience can also provide one with a BS alarm.
That's true. I think the individual US citizen has to take the responsibility on him or herself to find the truth and not rely on a single news source to be honest/accurate.

I look forward to her showing evidence that the accused are homosexuals. Maybe she will need to promote mega-wild raves to further her case, or something.

Since she is claiming that there is a law of god that is being violated, I suppose God will have to testify as well.

I wish he did. I am sure there would be some choice words for her enlightenment.

By extension she'll have to sue God for designing gay people that way. If she wins and gets custody of the entire Universe do you think God will be granted visitation rights?

Pft. Like I'd even acknowledge a summons, let alone show up.

And the purpose NBC news considered this to be an important news item, whereas, IRS subterfuge and other administrative scandals do not deem the importance of follow-up is why?

Because NBC's social and political agenda trumps the common good and truth.

That's all I can glean from this. Unless someone wants to imply this is how most Christians strongly feel what is the worst thing about this nation and the most important mission they should undertake.

See, the IRS thing is being covered 24/7 by nigh-every major news organization in the country. NBC has failing ratings as it is, and showing what amounts to "More of the same" won't do anything to fix that. NBC is many things(most of them utterly ****), but "ideological" isn't even slightly accurate.

I was all set to rant & rail aboot these crazy old people who want to push their odd value upon us.
Then I noticed that she's younger than I am.

Btw, "aboot" is the correct spelling in Canuckistan (which isn't too far from here).

I don't understand how a court would seriously consider the case. I can see a lawyer saying, "Oh yeah, we can SO sue." But will a court actually proceed with the case or just dismiss it - with prejudice.
I wouldn't expect a court to hear this case. My guess is it would be dismissed due to no cause of action.

I think we should place bets. I bet one frubal. This could be entertaining. :D

Thanks, but I beg to differ. Nor do I care to post 25 or 50 examples to bolster my point.

So easy to say "it's what sells papers" is all that matters to these mega media corporations but that would be folly. Otherwise, Fox would not always be trying to make money defending the right and all the MSM networks would not be trying to make money by defending almost everything left --- more so by what they choose not to report on than by what they choose to slant on what they do report on.

There is no real mystery here. These underreported scandals truly blow my mind. As does the shockingly timid republican congressmen and congressional committees. Apparently everyone is more interested in self-preservation than the common good.

''This just in...absurd religious claims are at an all time high. Full story at 6.''

That's not newsworthy, I agree. :p

I partake of the cable news channels (with the exception of Fox, it's just more than I can handle) but the vast majority of news I get elsewhere. I like Democracy Now!, NPR, Al Jazeera America, as well as foreign news outlets.
