I'm not European and don't follow that contest, so I've never heard of her but I know how to use a thing called Google Image Search. Maybe you've heard of it?! It's not unheard of for drag queens to have facial hair. It's called gender ******* or gender bending. Never heard of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence? They do the same damn thing (albeit in a far campier manner)! The point of the persona is to promote tolerance and understanding. Seems we have a lot of work to do in that area! What you're naively overlooking is the simple fact that drag queens like Conchita Wurst are going to bring about the collapse of our civilization. People want to turn themselves into freaks because they want attention and that's the best way they can find to get it, their choice. I don't have to approve it, I don't have to like it. If you want to call me a few names that's no problem.

Girls dressed as boys, boys dressed as girls is as ancient as society itself. I am deeply concerned about people judging others according to purely superficial things. A society that is tolerant and inclusive is a good thing. A society that decides whether it likes or dislikes people because of their appearance is not.
If the pillars of your society are threatened by a young person expressing themself in costume, then good riddance to your society - the world is better of without it.
