Well if you stop and use common sense would tell you why immediate action was taken against Assad of Syria.

Could it be because Assad was using chemical weapons, where it was a slow and agonizing death to people and children.
Where as other dictators was not using chemical weapons against their own people.
Where as democrats in this country like Obama and John Kerry did nothing to even try to prevent Assad from using chemical weapons. But kept drawing red lines in the ground, which Assad just laugh at Obama and John Kerry. Like complete fools.

Then comes Trump with back bone to stand up against Assad and Russia and not backing down.

There was a time when democrat President JFK stood up against Russia in 1962, and did not back down either. But put Russia in their place also.
