How is it illogical? Makes sense to me.No, that does not logically follow. And you are trying to drive the discussion into the insipid region again.

I doubt that. To "make sense" you would have to be able to do more than to make an empty claim. Please note, when I stated that it does not logically follow that odes not automatically mean that you are wrong. It just states that you made an unwarranted conclusion and your inability to support your belief only confirms that. How is it illogical? Makes sense to me.
No god=no existence. What aren’t you getting?I doubt that. To "make sense" you would have to be able to do more than to make an empty claim. Part of me thought you weren't saying I was wrong.I doubt that. To "make sense" you would have to be able to do more than to make an empty claim. You need to prove that. Right now it looks like you are making the error of assuming that a God has to exist. That has never been shown to be the case.No god=no existence. What aren’t you getting?
I can understand how you would make that mistake. A person may have a totally irrational belief and still be wrong. Now it is far more likely that someone that cannot support his claims is going to be wrong than a person that can, but even that is not guaranteed.Part of me thought you weren't saying I was wrong.
My God is existence/universe. What aren't you getting? You need to prove that. Right now it looks like you are making the error of assuming that a God has to exist. That has never been shown to be the case.
I get that you have demoted God down to nothing. If that is your claim then you are no different from an atheist. My God is existence/universe. What aren't you getting?
So you’ve told me and I'll say it again. To me the universe is far from nothing. It's comforting too. Dare I say it's loving?I get that you have demoted God down to nothing. If that is your claim then you are no different from an atheist.
Then you would also have to say that it is evil. Go to a cancer ward in a children's hospital. It is better to say that the universe is neither good nor bad, it simply is. Sometimes good things happen, sometimes bad. You cannot make sense of it if you try to claim that it is good or evil.So you’ve told me and I'll say it again. To me the universe is far from nothing. It's comforting too. Dare I say it's loving?
You may not be able to make sense of it which is ok but for me, I can have a loving God and an imperfect world at the same time. I like keeping it simple. Then you would also have to say that it is evil. Go to a cancer ward in a children's hospital. It is better to say that the universe is neither good nor bad, it simply is. And that is just confirmation bias. It is an example of you not being rational since you are not using consistent standards. You may not be able to make sense of it which is ok but for me, I can have a loving God and an imperfect world at the same time. I like keeping it simple.
I disagree, I don’t take the all or nothing attitude when it comes to my God. As my God is really just the empty space anyway. The things in that space, well some are good some are bad.And that is just confirmation bias. It is an example of you not being rational since you are not using consistent standards.
Now you are contradicting yourself.I disagree, I don’t take the all or nothing attitude when it comes to my God. As my God is really just the empty space anyway. The things in that space, well some are good some are bad.
How?Now you are contradicting yourself.
You can't seem to make up your mind if your God is a loving God or just the universe. If you claim that your God is just the universe then it would not have any other attributes. It would be just the universe. I don't think that you will let yourself understand that. How?
As I’ve said twice now and I’ll say it again for a third time. My God is the universe. I find comfort in my God. You may not be able to feel the comfort/love that the universe provides but I can. What aren’t you getting? We’re going around in circles. You can't seem to make up your mind if your God is a loving God or just the universe. If you claim that your God is just the universe then it would not have any other attributes. It would be just the universe. I don't think that you will let yourself understand that.
And that is just nonsense because you tried to attribute traits to the universe that it does not seem to have. Even worse when you do that you put a burden of proof upon yourself, but you have admitted that you cannot do that.As I’ve said twice now and I’ll say it again for a third time. I don’t even know why I continued to have a conversation with you for this long. What a complete waste of my time. And that is just nonsense because you tried to attribute traits to the universe that it does not seem to have. Even worse when you do that you put a burden of proof upon yourself, but you have admitted that you cannot do that.
Which shows that I was correct all along when I pointed out that you have an irrational belief.
You’re right. The universe just exists. It offers nothing to no one.And that is just nonsense because you tried to attribute traits to the universe that it does not seem to have. Even worse when you do that you put a burden of proof upon yourself, but you have admitted that you cannot do that.
