And I had to double check to see if this is a "debate" or a "discussion" area. It was placed in the debate area which means that the OP should be able to defend his claims. Instead he rather rudely preached from the start and would not defend his preaching. Preaching in a debate thread is actually a rule violation.

I have been clear about my opinion that there’s only one god, whatever that god is and that no one can escape that. Debate is fine.

When one only "states an opinion" but refuses to support it that looks just like preaching.

This is a debate thread. Perhaps you should have chosen a discussion thread. But even then one needs to temper opinions.

Myself disagreeing with you on something might actually be a sign of fiery lands freezing over, but I actually think that it's not bad debate form per se the way @Moon presented it. I've even seen threads where the OP just kind of takes on the role of debate moderator, and is just putting out a topic of discussion for both sides to debate in the OP, but doesn't really consider them a side themselves.

So, I disagree with the notion that debates have to be rigid and always like a Chess match.

I’ve answered everyone’s questions here to the best of my ability and gave people more insight as to what I think.

Except that you did run away when it comes to you supporting your own beliefs. At that point others are free to disregard them and that can drive a thread totally away from the OP. In other words by doing so you kill your own thread.

I did not run away. I stated that I believe that there’s only one god in reality, whatever god that may be. And you said why would any rational person believe that and I said it’s not for everyone. You responded by saying that is not an answer. Then you said Now it appears that you you are admitting that you are irrational. So as you can see this conversation got insipid real quick

That is another non-answer. Yes, one can believe whatever he wishes. But when one puts one's beliefs into a debate forum that indicates that the person can support those beliefs. You do not appear to be able to do that.

I did. I stated a couple pages ago that I believe god is the universe
