No to Fake Meat

OMG. My head is splitting. Here's how I see it - a human life is worth more than an animal life. That being said, animals do show emotion sometimes and that makes them almost, but not quite, human. I love animals but I love people more. That being said, if a person I didn't know and a dog I did know were in a fire, I'd save the person first but I'd try to save the dog too. Or a cat for that matter. An amoeba, no. I sure wouldn't risk life or limb to save it. A snake, probably not. A chicken, also probably not. But I'd be sad about the chicken.
Fantastic! According to some people though you're egotistical and self centered. Animals arent "someone" or a person. Thats all.

You're still judging the fish by human standards and missing the point of my last post.
I know your point. A fish is a fish and a human is a human. They are different and unique in their won way. And its true. Whats also true is humans are superior to animals. Why is that such a difficult concept for you to grasp or accept?

Accept this isn't objectively true. Which was kind of everyones point.
But it is worth more. The fact you cant or wont see that is sad quite frankly. And all in the service of what? Do the animals feel better because you dont think you're better than them?

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Call...me...egotistical. Call...me...so self centered...Call...me...unreliable too! Do...my...foolish alibis bore....you...Why do I know the words to that song?

Wait, forget the dog - I'll know you when I see you carrying some water out of a burning building while I burn up inside!

God forbid your house in on fire. Inside the house is your dog and one of your loved ones. You only have time to save one. which one do you save?
Make it a turtle and a stranger! Still the same I would bet. I sure hope so.
