Noahs Ark

Why should i trade the beliefs of my ancestors for modern pseudo-science? Sane people don't.

Well, it appears that you're basing your "beliefs" on "science" - that is, showing the superiority of the Aryan race in a variety of ways and the need for this race to continue. This leads to abuses in science and history, and apparently everyone who disagrees is an "evolutionist" and supports "genocide," and evidently you have no idea what any of these words mean.

I suggest an intensive detox program. No caffeine, alcohol, or porn for at least three weeks, no Bible reading, no church, and for God's sake stay of these crappy websites that you keep posting from.

After that we can debate.

wait... I'm missing something. How can you accept the Bible and "All creation myths" at the same time?

And how can you only accept what you see with your own eyes? Does that mean you don't believe in molecules or atoms? Gravity, radio, microwaves... Indonesia?
God and Jesus?

No i believe what the Bible says, and secondly what i observe from what my own eyes can see. The latter is what science is, knowledge obtained from observation.
You seem to be unable to grasp the different between knowledge obtained from observation (using the scientific method) and what you observe with your own eyes. It's not that complicated a distinction, yet you seem unable to grasp it. Why do you think that is?

I accept all creation myths since they reject evolution.
Even the ones that contradict each other?
Remember the theory of evolution is modern.
Yes, like 90% of scientific knowledge.

Understand what tradition is then what modern is. Why should i trade the beliefs of my ancestors for modern pseudo-science? Sane people don't.

Only if you want to be right. If you don't care, stay with the ancient myths.

So, just want to make this clear, what you reject is modern science. Starting from when?

Every myth holds a grain of truth.

My understanding was that Noah was a Summarian who used to monitor the rise and fall of the rivers. At this time the climate was changing in Mesopotamia (imagine that, climate change!) and the flooding was becoming progressively worse. At any rate Noah warned the neighboring villagers that they should make their houses into houseboats and drive their animals inside every night. Well one year the flooding was so bad that the whole village was wiped out, except Noah and his family who survived, along with their animals, in their houseboat.

Problem is is that this is pure speculation on your part. None of this is written in your bible.

And as already pasted, Myth > Mythos > traditional story (story-telling : m
umacr.gif
thos
, story + -logi
amacr.gif
, -logy).

Hundreds of world myths describe a deluge which covered the entire earth, and also mention the escape of one family into an ark, boat or ship.

The Noachian deluge is verified by mythology.

So I'm safe to conclude you believe in all mythological stories. Am I correct?.....Or are you just concerned with the ones that seem similar to your biblical ones....?

There is no mention of Indonesia in the Bible (I checked). And given that this guy believes in a flat earth with corners I am sure he doesn’t believe in Indonesia.
Well that's real sad. Bali is a beautiful place to vacation!!!:p

Even if they suspected their earth was round they still did not have the technology to "KNOW" the entire globe was covered with water. How would they know?

Moses began writing the written record preserved in the Bible around the year 1513 BC(BCE).

Apparently Noah not only built an ark of many logs, Noah kept a log.
Meaning Noah kept a written record that Moses would have used that information to compile the Genesis account.
Just as Moses would have also had the 'book of generations' from Adam's writings.- Gen 5:1.

Wait, you have Noah's ship log? Where?

How does that answer the question how Noah would have known the whole globe was covered with water. Neither Moses nor Noah had any idea of whether other regions were flooded or not. How could they know? Did they sail around the world to find out? Also, how could Moses have Adams writings when Adam never wrote anything?

challupa-

According to Genesis 5:1 Adam wrote a 'book of generations' that would have been available for Moses to copy into his writings.

Noah's ark log is what Moses had and recorded in Genesis chapters 6-9
Which would include the everlasting covenant and rainbow covenant.-Genesis chapter 9.
