I suppose they'll do the best they can to defend the sanctity of marriage by cheating on their spouses and getting divorced, like they've always done.
I've already seen an upsurge in Americans flocking to Revoltingistan to marry their pets, cars & even sammiches.

I have every intention of going on a four day legal wanton rampage of seducing every hot and hunky straight married man away from his wife and turning him gay. Four days may not be enough however. So many straight men, so little time. I think I will start by seducing Mark Harmon away from Pam Dawber. I know he really wants to turn teh ghey, and now he legally can.

But what of the ones already married? The government is no longer defending their marriages now. I mean, now that that word isn't defended, doesn't that somehow mean that their marriage is automatically something "less" than it was? Oh Noes! :faint:

Of course not, because now it will be evident that if any divorces happen it will obviously be because marriage wasn't being defended against gays. Straight couples will start suing random gay people to fund their divorces and pay them restitution for ruining their marriages. It's only logical.

Well of course it'll ruin your marriage. I mean, haven't you been paying attention? Now that marriage isn't defended anymore it has taken on a whole new meaning.
