"In God We Trust" was adopted in 1956 as the nation's motto largely due to the "Red Scare" during that time.
Because it wouldn't be an accurate sample if they didwhat makes you think they didn't?
Because polls need to be honest to be accepted. You are proposing a conspiracy. That puts a huge burden of proof upon you.what makes you think they didn't?
You mean like the polls did during the election?Because polls need to be honest to be accepted. You are proposing a conspiracy. That puts a huge burden of proof upon you.
Polls always have a margin of error. Why didn't you admit that you did not understand polling? You mean like the polls did during the election?
The only people it "sticks it to" are those who penned the Constitution and those who respect it enough to want it upheld.Yeup to stick to the atheist communist. Seems like it still works on the ones inside the U.S. as well.
There is a difference between "margin" and "completely wrong". Why do you not want to admit that it was WAAAY off? Denial?Polls always have a margin of error. Why didn't you admit that you did not understand polling?
Which god? Shiva, Allah, Atlas, please be specific.A VICTORY for sanity and the validation of history. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Other than trying to take the discussion of track, just what is it you see on the left side that I should better spend my time on?I think you should pay more attention to as to what the left side of that bill is saying.
Sometimes Bias enters in. As my statics teacher said, "You can make your poll say anything you want". The poll maker:Because it wouldn't be an accurate sample if they did
You can pray to yours and I'll pray to mine or, if you are your own god, you can believe in yourself..Which god? Shiva, Allah, Atlas, please be specific.

The problem for atheists is that it asserts there is a God.I don't see the harm in this. Is it catering to any one particular religion or another? No. So, where's the issue?
While you are correct on the tradition, you are incorrect in thinking the question turns on whether an American citizen is being forced or compelled to believe in a particular god. The question is whether a reasonable person would think that the phrase demonstrates the government adopting a religious position.E pluribus unum hasn't been changed as the official motto of our nation, Frank. It still is. Regarding the precedence to referencing God within civil contexts, this goes back to (again) the FOUNDING DOCUMENT OF THIS NATION which contains a notable and explicit reference to a Creator. Speaking to the Founding Fathers, the vast majority of them were either Christians or Deists, individuals who believed in a God. Again, let us re-establish this: is any American citizen here being compelled or otherwise forced by their government to believe in a god or gods, or to adopt any particular religion? No.
The atheist communists murdered millions of their own people and tried, in vain, to eradicate religion. They failed despite over 70 years of trying. Why did they fail?Yeup to stick to the atheist communist. Seems like it still works on the ones inside the U.S. as well.
Then you do not understand either the U.S. election or polls. They were not "completely wrong". Trump won some very close states that swung the election. They were correct about the over all vote. Also sometimes people lie to pollsters, especially if they are embarrassed by their choice. It looks like the people that lied had a very good reason to be embarrassed.
Annuit Coeptis = [Deo pater] favors our undertakings, Novus Ordo Seclorum = The Great Order of the Ages is born again.Other than trying to take the discussion of track, just what is it you see on the left side that I should better spend my time on?

Which, no doubt, among other past precedence, played into the SCOTUS decision. So, too, does the Declaration of Independence.
