Trump on Truth Social:
<...> Matt will end Weaponized Government,<...>
methinks I'm going to need something more than just popcorn for this one
Think about this, maybe it would be a good idea to have him there after all. Just think of the excellent job he will do defending the Trump administration's overreaches. ;)

Maybe it would be a good idea to have the democrats vote to affirm him. :smilingimp:
Gaetz would be in the seat of Bill Barr:

No, these are people that are not part of the administrative state that thwarts the will of the people. The bureaucracy is going to get cut and won't go away easily. Trump's' big mistake last time was nominating people to positions that were part of the establishment. He is not making that mistake again.

He's nominating lightweights and weirdos with zero government experience, to senior government roles. This is unlikely to end well, but at least he's kicking *** (with all the skill and effectiveness of a one legged man at an arse kicking contest).

Suit you, madam?
Well...perhaps he was too crass...but the concept is that my female friends do not look exactly like Miss Italy...
and never got pregnant not even once in their lives.
But they did have many many boyfriends.
Perhaps the point is that the Miss Americas have an incredibly restless sex life, so the risk of pregnancy is higher? ;)

Says more about the Trump supporters wailing about the nasty lefties always saying nasty things about them though. As if this didn't originate with them - and Trump of course. Politics in the USA went down the drain when these people started using ad homs as a matter of course.

There is also self-irony that characterizes me...well...us.

I know it's more likely that I sleep with Leonardo Di Caprio than Ukraine winning the war.
;)
I don't find it offensive towards me.

You conservatives clearly have a problem with the people you keep electing. You should do research before voting in the future.
Listening to InfoWars and ridiculous conservative media will always leave you high and dry.
That's the problem with conservatives today, they've gone from Fox news to even more radicalized media further right.
Infowars is a joke. All you people do is just accuse and accuse never have any substance.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
They complain about government being corrupt and needing change. But they continue putting in worse and worse people.
The voters are to blame and always have been
How do you know they are worse? They haven't even started their respective office yet.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I hate when people blame the voters. Is it the voters' fault that half the country looked at Harris/Biden and said "Nope, we can do better"? Is it the voters' fault that politicians have become adept inside a system that rewards them for lying, stealing, and cheating their way to the top? Is it the voters' fault that the two options were a giant douche and a t*&^ sandwich?

Who else could they vote for? George Washington warned that party politics, because of their regional nature, would destroy the American democratic system. It was the subject of his last speech. Who would have thought that the second best President the Yanks ever had would know his stuff?
Write in your vote.

One week in and Trump is already making poor decisions. How can this get better? He's going to be sworn in two months from now, and he can't even select qualified cabinet officials. It's like he's starting from the bottom.

Or perhaps competent people want nothing to do with him. Let MAGA collapse under it's own ineptitude.

It doesn't matter who he nominates you would not like them. So this rant means nothing.
