Why do you assume there weren't?Why wasn’t there texts written by the witnesses at the tomb who didn’t see him rise and why weren’t their writings debunking this “fallacy” handed down over time like the gospels were?
People would’ve loved to debunk it.Why do you assume there weren't?
Let's try this again. Why do you assume there weren't texts written by the witnesses at the tomb who didn’t see him rise and why weren’t their writings debunking this “fallacy” handed down over time like the gospels were?People would’ve loved to debunk it.
I get that you may think they may have and somehow got lost. Funny the gospels weren’t lost.Let's try this again. Why do you assume there weren't texts written by the witnesses at the tomb who didn’t see him rise and why weren’t their writings debunking this “fallacy” handed down over time like the gospels were?
Are you familiar with the term 'heresy?' Do you know what the consequences would have been for even being in possession of such texts? These texts wouldn't be something you could just bring down to Zondervan for publishing.I get that you may think they may have and somehow got lost. Funny the gospels weren’t lost.
No heretical texts exist from that time? Are you familiar with the term 'heresy?' Do you know what the consequences would have been for even being in possession of such texts? These texts wouldn't be something you could just bring down to Zondervan for publishing.
I agree with you there. In fact I don’t think that time actually happened. One possibility might be because the event never actually happened. The Christian New Testament accounts could be mythical fiction. People don't write accounts about not seeing events that didn't even happen.
Have you seen any? Even ones that had to do with events other than the Jesus' resurrection? No heretical texts exist from that time?
Have you? Maybe someone here with a little more knowledge could enlighten us.Have you seen any? Even ones that had to do with events other than the Jesus' resurrection?
Are there any accounts by people who didn't see Caesar killed? Are there any accounts by people who didn't witness the building of the Khazad-dûm bridge or the Black Bridge? Why wasn’t there texts written by the witnesses at the tomb who didn’t see him rise and why weren’t their writings debunking this “fallacy” handed down over time like the gospels were?
Are there any accounts by people who didn’t see the moon? Are there any accounts by people who didn't see Caesar killed? Are there any accounts by people who didn't witness the building of the Khazad-dûm bridge or the Black Bridge?
I guess we're getting closer to answering your question. Are there any accounts by people who didn’t see the moon?
Or further.I guess we're getting closer to answering your question.
Are you capable of answering a single question without evading what was asked?Have you? Maybe someone here with a little more knowledge could enlighten us.
Well, by that reasoning, I guess it’s safe to assume that the story was a work of fiction written by some unknown author. Are there any accounts by people who didn't see Caesar killed? Are there any accounts by people who didn't witness the building of the Khazad-dûm bridge or the Black Bridge?
Unknown!? He's one of the greatest authors of our times. Quit being silly.Well, by that reasoning, I guess it’s safe to assume that the story was a work of fiction written by some unknown author.
I don’t even think that time existed but it’s fun to look for little loopholes.I guess we're getting closer to answering your question.
Maybe you’re right, maybe all the authors of the Bible are fictitious.Unknown!? He's one of the greatest authors of our times. Quit being silly.
