Look, the zakat covers for the care of ALL poor, not jus tmuslims.

Which is exactly what I said. Thanks for repeating me as if you said anything new.... Next time read what you reply to.

The Jizyah also has a part to play in that but yes, as I said and you repeated, the jizyah also covers military expenses, the same military which protects the non-muslims. In Islam, a muslim, when living in a true islamic state, MUST answer the call for war, whether it is to defend their borders or to fight against an oppressive regime. A non-muslim is under no such obligation, also the jizya covers the costs of the police force as does other revenues of funds by the government, the same police force, which, you guessed it, must look after both muslim and non-muslim citizens.

People shouldn't have to pay a special tax to be protected by their nation when it should be a right as a citizen not part tax code for a group of people. Muslim religious obligations have nothing to do with non-Muslims.

Now, you have a non-Muslim, living in an islamic state, under a social welfare system, free health care, help with benefits and jobs if unemployed or disabled, all of this funded by the muslims and those non-muslims who can afford it (this is key) are expected to give nothing back to the system? That's unfair on the muslims lol

Tripe. Both non-Muslims and Muslims could be taxed the same way, lets say 10%. Your religious charity "tax", zakat, should be a separate from this just as tithing is separate in Catholicism and the state. I never said non-Muslims should not pay taxes. I said they should not have a different tax for being a different religion as this is discrimination. You constructed a strawman to knockdown. Congratulations on your flawed fallacious argument which has no relation to what I said.

But seriously, this isn't difficult to understand, if you lot keep disagreeing with it, it's up to you. I have done my bit to try and help you to understand, it is up to you to accept what is right.

I disagree since it is discrimination. If that is your best, fallacious arguments, you need to learn how to constructs proper rational arguments not full of logical errors. Try again son.

Yes it is. Also consider that Palestinians are not citizens of the state nor citizens of a foreign state. So they do not even have the rights I would have as a foreign national under various treaties. However since there are Muslims in Israeli I believe the difference in treatment is not based upon religion but due to occupation policy and the whole not a state/not citizens situation.
