So, it looks like Trump will be making taxpayers pay for the extension of the wall along the Mexico/US border. But vows that the Mexican government will pay for it later. What do you think? Are you okay with your tax dollars going towards this? Do you think the Mexican government will pay for it later?

For me? I want to see more effective measures for dealing with illegal immigrations. But, I am not convinced the wall is the right way to do it. Whacha think?

How would you justify forcing a foreign government to pay for our security infrastructure anyway? We could just stop hiring illegal immigrants and buying illegal drugs. The Mexican people have nothing to do with our choices to do those things.

Just not stupid enough to think that they will work, nor will the wall work. If there is really a legitimate way to get 10 billion dollars from Mexico, put it into your education system, or into health care. It served as a wonderful political tool to draw in frustrated voters who wanted to believe a large portion of their tax dollars goes to illegal immigrants. Despite any argument to the contrary, Trump realized he needed this demographic. It paid off in spades, as we see now.
