For the record...

It turns out things have changed considerably overseas, so I would suggest all Deep State - Swamp people infesting Ukraine to leave.

And I would like to tell the Government in Kiev, this: "you're too late. You're too late!".

By the by...I suggest them the Caribbean. They are heavenly islands.
Heaven.

How will the war end?

Because we will not support this war any more, so either the two belligerent parties sit down around the table and make peace, or Ukraine will become isolated.

Ok. Please post a link an official EU communication saying anything remotely like that.

If anything, it seems to be that the resolve to support Ukraine is as big as ever.

Sounds like you are pretending once again as if your wet dreams are reality.
You're from Benelux, right?

Let's be frank...Benelux... come on.
The EU is Germany-France-Italy. The old HRE.

Germany can't sustain the war any more...and I believe Scholz will be sensible.

They could try to salvage something out of this, but Ukraine and Russia may have to do it on their own - without Western mediation or interference (which is how it should have been done in the first place).

As I mentioned in another thread, it seems that geopolitical perceptions may shift, as well as the national priorities. It may not necessarily change any policies or current treaty obligations outright, but there may be less of a moral panic, and the kind of wild talk about "Russia is planning to conquer the whole world" will subside to some degree.

Tool of the ardent Russophile....
Attempt to discredit criticism of Putin & Russia by
mischaracterizing it as histrionics. I recall no one
claiming they plan to "conquer the whole world".
Instead it was that their violent conquest had
additional contiguous targets.

The question now....will Trump oppose or enable
Russia's consuming its neighbors?

Europeans had this war at the doors of the EU.
It was 2 years and a half of nightmare. A real never-ending nightmare.

The Americans who voted for Trump saved us. They literally saved our lives. Because we were threatened by nuclear war.

Russophobic paranoia. The Baltics are next to Saint Petersburg...and the Russians couldn't care less about them.

Trump will leave the matter to us Europeans.

We Europeans with our pacifist legislation will outlaw all warmongers infesting our continent. ;)

Compris?

Unnecessary, irrelevant, and uncalled for.

Attempt to discredit criticism of Putin & Russia by
mischaracterizing it as histrionics.

I don't agree with your opinion that it's a mischaracterization. All we've seen is histrionics these past few years - and not just over Putin and Russia. Why would you deny it? Haven't you been paying attention?

I recall no one
claiming they plan to "conquer the whole world".

There have been claims along those lines. I've heard Poland, the Baltics, and Finland frequently mentioned as Putin's possible "next targets" if he is not stopped in Ukraine. You haven't heard this? The mentioning of his "next targets" clearly implies that there would be even more targets after that, essentially implying a claim that there is a plan towards world conquest or control.

Instead it was that their violent conquest had
additional contiguous targets.

The question now....will Trump oppose or enable
Russia's consuming its neighbors?

I was reading world reactions about Trump's election, and the Kremlin and Putin were silent, yet Zelenskyy sent a warm congratulatory message. He said he had a great meeting with Trump in September. Russia still ostensibly sees America as a hostile adversary.

The problem with your 'solution' is that the biggest War Hawk is being rewarded for his invasion.

It's a territorial controversy about historically Russian regions. Russian-speaking regions.

Since Ukraine will join the EU, I guess the EU has a say...and if they want to be regions of the Russian Federation, let them be.

In Europe there was a great peace until the Obama administration.

The relations between Russia and EU were fantastic, and also thanks to my country (I couldn't be prouder)...
that is why the Baltics and the other countries of Eastern Europe were immediately welcomed into the EU.

And into the NATO too...

But after that...we saw that some warmongers were coming to Europe...and they stirred things up...causing discord between Ukraine and Russia.

These warmongers just need to kicked out of Europe...and everything will go back to normal.

Zelensky's mandate has expired...for the record.

Who's he?
Russia still ostensibly sees America as a hostile adversary.

That's not true. Russia wants peace with the West and move on. With all the West, including the US. Russia has never antagonized the US.

It all depends upon what one supports & does.
Do you remember Berlusconi?

La dolce Vita... the sea, the food...

Totally called for, considering that
you'd just used that very tool.
And all of RF is unnecessary.

Same reason as I deny the Moon landings were
faked, that the Jews caused 9/11, & that vaccines
are designed to introduce nano-bots with which
government will control us.
Haven't you been paying attention?
Oh, I've watched you coyly defend
Russia's violent conquest.
