I'd love to attempt to change things as long as I found people that agreed with me, people with the same state of mind, the same goals, same intentions. Until then, I just hope something happens. Nothing can happen unless there is tons of support. It's nearly beyond repair in my opinion, I think it will take something drastic to bandage the problems with our society. Most peole I talk to agree with me, most people I talk to are afraid to make a progressive move to make a difference, including myself. My mind is open and my fingers are crossed.
While I applaud your attitude, who is to say that your state of mind, goals, and intentions are the best for society?
I think the current situation relates directly back to the increasing level of genetic stupid permeating American society. Stupid listens to gangster rap and thinks it's cool to gangbang (the kind where you roll around on the streets in lowriders and hang out on corners looking tough, not the other kind) and kill people. Stupid watches the news and thinks there's nothing more to know. Stupid does a lot of other things. Parents can be stupid, but even smart parents can have stupid offspring. Rather than lowering the bar for stupid so stupid can pass aptitude tests and not be held back, we should raise the bar and force stupid to perform. It's not ok to accept the stupid. The stupid must be eliminated.
I'm sick of 8th graders moving on to high school without being able to read or do long division. I'm sick of 12-year-olds getting pregnant because stupid decided to turn sex-ed into abstinence-ed. I'm also sick of that same stupid blaming the 12-year-old's pregnancy on lack of morals and telling them they can't try again. Teach the kid to use a freakin' condom! Otherwise, it's like spending all of driver's education saying, "don't drive." Speaking of driving, don't float in the left lane, stupid! (Sorry, pet peeve.) If you're obese, don't eat McDonalds double-cheeseburgers. If you're pregnant, don't smoke crack, pot, or cigarettes and don't down 15 vodka drinks in a night. If you're poor, quit popping out more stupid to inflate your welfare check and spend time making sure the kids you have don't add to the stupid. If you're rich, give a little to help reduce the stupid. If you're famous, be a role-model, not a stupid. *cough*britneyspears*cough*
Join the anti-stupid movement. It's non-denominational, multi-cultural, international, and beneficial.
(Did I just turn into Dennis Leary?)
