People who speak more than one language: How to say "I love you" in your language?

Me Myself

Back to my username
I also like
Mi Amor

Saying "Mi Amor" it´s an indirect but implicit "I love you".

Literaly translated as "My love" and it means you are saying the person that they are your love. Like a way of saying "pumpking pie" or "honey" or "You there"

:D

Similar "honey"s are :

Mi vida
(My life)
Mi Cielo
(My sky/heaven)
Mi reina
(my queen)
Preciosa
(precious)

Of course some people also say

Mi gorda
(my fatty one (femenine))

and

Mi Gordo

(my fatty one (masculine) xD )

It´s (generaly) not meant to be an insult at all, nor means that s/he is actually fat.

Silly things :D

Infinitum

Possessed Bookworm
"Mä tykkään susta." ("I like you", it's a bit uncommon to hear "minä rakastan sinua" out here. :D)

"Jag älskar dig".

Songbird

She rules her life like a bird in flight
Swahili: Poa kichizi kama ndizi.

It's neither a language I speak much of nor means I love you. But it's a great saying, and I like Swahili!

In Vikerian we say "get me a beer (or sammich)" sometimes "here is your beer ( or sammich )" for "I love you". There are many other ways to say "I love you", this is just more common.
