Petition Against God

This thread is about a petition against the Christian God. What is the petition for? It's so the Christian God will give anybody who is or becomes Christian superpowers, like he gave to Moses and Jesus. Are you pro-superpowers? Show your support.

Interesting. I think it's interesting. I don't think God has 'superpowers' per se and Moses and God are not on the same level at all.

Guess I'm confused. I thought it was a petition against God. How can it be a petition against God if we get superpowers like Moses and Jesus. Wouldn't that mean you agree there's a God?

I suppose this is a joke, since I'm atheist. I guess the point is I would become Christian (again) if God would just give me superpowers like the stories of Moses and Jesus suggested they had. Yes, it is like the serpent.

This is a rediculous question but I guess you CAN ask it...personally I do not feel many are worthy of the honor of special powers given by God such as those given to Moses...seeing that Jesus IS God there is no way we could ever be put in that category...we can only strive to be more like Christ. Jesus did bestoy powers on some in the days He walked on earth...I still feel He still does but when He does it won't be something you'll hear much about because when things Glorify God it's not very news worthy.

Technically, wouldn't he be the Jewish God when he gave Moses 'superpowers'? And Jesus, if you wanted to get into semantics...

Well, Christians believe in Moses too... and Jews don't believe Jesus was the son of God. That's one of the reasons why they killed him.
