Should pornography be bannes? If so, is it because or partially because it exploits women?

No it does not! How does comparing the recording and distribution of someone's rape, to cooking food wrongly work?
Because you are claiming that all porn is as bad as rape because of instances of rape. Is all water unfit to drink because of the ocean?

No one is being punished! Men are not being punished if porn is not available for them. I agree that maybe some people might as well die if they are that pathetic.

You are denying honest individuals the right to market a product based on the actions of a corrupt subgroup. It is punishing the actors and actresses, the producers, and the marketers, not the consumers.

Yeah because if we don't watch porn we'll die.

Respectfully, I can't understand how one can claim to be a feminist but not grasp the concept that women are capable of independently choosing this type of profession for themselves.

You're blanket labeling women as weak and exploited when it comes to the porn industry. I don't think that ALL women are exploited in this industry. Do those women who are making willing choices, not deserve the right to exercise their freedom sto express themselves in this career of their choosing, regardless of our opinions?

I am saying I do not know if someone is or is not being raped in a porn scene and yes that should bother people.

Sure bothers me. The main reason I don't watch porn is that I'm pretty good at telling how people feel, and the women are obviously not enjoying themselves in almost all of it.

No, I'm not. This is a straw man. I never said any of this stuff. Some, many, most and all are not synonyms.

If it punishes the pimps and their right to make speech out of womens bodies I do not care and never will!

So, at what point did I mention pimps? Surely there are some individuals who work in the porn industry without pimps. Should they be punished for your agenda?

Does anybody think women are truly respected in this world today? Women damn well should be in my view.
