Except that 87% of the precincts have reported in Florida, and Bush is leading by 52%.

I think Bush has got Florida.

GO BUSH!!
Did you have to tell me that, Ceridwen! That could be the game right there.

Don't count your chickens...it ain't over till the last vote is counted. None of the news people want to call Florida yet.

Well, my state has decided that I am not worthy of equal rights... I think it's time to move...
Unfortunately, my state (Ohio) has also decided you are not worthy of equal rights...absolutely ridiculous. For what it's worth, after a few debates with my Dad, I convinced him to vote against the amendment.

I have to say it's a bit sad that half the country is against the Iraq War, so they're going out and voting for the challenger...who is for the Iraq War...and the Patriot Act...FLIP - FLOPPER... ;)

GO DUBYA!!!

I got to vote on five items - President, Senator, State Representative, District, and Gay marriage amendment to my state's constitution (I live in KY as does Maize).

I whiffed - didn't have one vote go to a winner. This happened to me on Reagan's second term. Talk about a hollow feeling. Somebody shoot me. I'm getting too old for this.

TVOR

PS - remember my prediction Sunstone. Bush will win, the country will go in the drink on just about every important issue, and we will not have another Republican in the White House for the next 20 years. The backlash will be that strong. Sadly, this will actually mean that some good Republican candidates will get snubbed by virtue of the pendulum swinging to the liberal side of the aisle.

I've got 219 to 199 on the tv here. I was surprised to see that one of the free-to-air tv stations here has been covering the election all day. Looks like I'm not the only one with a vested interest in the outcome...

Just for the record, I completely blame Bush for the passage marriage amendments..... He made this an issue and fought against it, scaring people into believing that same sex marriage would somehow magically devalue their marriages. What a load of crap. He makes me physically ill.

I wonder just how far he'll take us towards a theocracy.

Last post before I hit the sack tonight:

As told to me by yahoo.com homepage:

If Bush wins all of the states which are leaning towards him right now, (Ohio, Florida, Colorado and New Mexico) he will have a total of 271 EC votes.
If Kerry wins all of the states that are leaning towards him, (Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Oregon, Nevada, and New Hampshire) he will have a total of 259 EC votes.

Best of luck to everyone and their candidate of choice.

GO BUSH!!
(whoop! whoop! whoop!)
