Prime Minister of Canada; Justin Trudeau should resign

" disgusting, distasteful, damning, throwing tantrums" and- horrors- demanding a politican leave!

Sounds like united Empire Loyalist speaking for ol King George.

Or a 1939 Brit saying " we must stand by
Chamberlin!"

In Canada, btw, a simple vote of no confidence and the pm is out.
But they need a replacement that will attain more confidence. Cutting off the head fixes nothing without a better head.

Churchill was the right guy to replace Chamberlin.

Hear, hear! -- let them stew in their own repressive gulags.
I do see the rest of America quickly joining the rest of the first world countries, Canada breathing easier at night, while the MidWest and South become more third world and Iran/Saudi Arabia/Afghanistan like.

I think when infrastructure bills get passed and a representative votes against it, that district gets no money. We are seeing many republicans who voted against the recent infrastructure bill but are bragging about the money their districts are getting from it. That might make red states turn blue.

He should be removed from office... He is a weasel; hiding in his basement when confronted by protesters! The Joe Biden of the north!
This was one time the apple fell farther from the tree from his popular father.

At least Biden comes with a legit excuse to which that he's old, arguably senile, and not all completely there.

Like in my previous post, all red states get federal money even if their representative vote against it. What is the point of districts if the votes are political and the districts benefit anyway? So red states can see investments even if their politics are regressive.

That's why he keeps tearing up documents in the Oval Office, he's senile and forgets the law.

Like California and it crowning achievement called Frisco I suppose?

US is supposed to be a leader, carving its own trail, not a sheepish follower like the left so dearly wishes it to be.

Lol, Pierre Trudeau was an extremely controversial figure when he was PM.

I liked him, but I bet you wouldn’t have.

America has gotten so far behind it has to catch up to the rest of the first world nations before it can lead. "Trying to carve its own trail" has just left it with some rather embarrassing numbers, like a high incarceration rate, high infant mortality rate, low TIMS scores and poor education outcomes, outrageously and prohibitively expensive healthcare, high teen pregnancy rate, work more but produce less, and a crippling wealth distribution inequality.

Gosh I wonder how that happened?

Strange, he was more left leaning than Justin Trudeau is, but he was a cool dude. I met him three times and he was very nice.
True but left leaning then dosent mean what is thought of as left leaning now.

I always pictured him as a centrist as that had applied in the past.

He was a cosmopolitan that raised tremendously immigration in Canada in the 90's, he raised taxes, he did balanced the budget by cutting transfers of funds toward the provinces, he created a national registry for firearms, he was in favor of free trade agreements and was interventionist (in the Canadian sense) when it came to international politics. He also did much to advance environmental regulations in Canada (which would end up in dead water when the conservatives won the election), defended abortion rights with such efficacy that today it's political suicide to support its criminalization and defended the rights of homosexual to marry though he had been previously opposed to it. Paul Martin, his successor, would then make it a thing in 2005.

I always pictured him as a centrist as that had applied in the past.

At the time he was, but there has been a drift to the right in politics since 9/11. He would be slightly on the left of Trudeau today and firmly a Liberal politician.
