Prophecies in your religion

FearGod

Freedom Of Mind
There are some recordings of what expected to happen in the future which
was mentioned during the message of Islam.

What prophecies you have in your religion.

I will start with one prophecy which says

the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “And if you see the barefoot, naked, shepherds of camels competing [for praise] in the construction of high-rise buildings, then this is from among the signs [of the Hour].

Do you know anyone who expected the same before 1500 years ago?

Here's an old picture of some Emirates in the market and we can notice they were barefoot

And the Emirates are competing now in constructing high buildings

I'm spiritual not religious and there are no prophecies in my belief.

I would say your prophecy is not at all impressive because it doesn't qualify what high rise is (ie are we talking tall mud huts or skyscrapers?). And because it says the buildings would be constructed by barefoot naked Sheppards, not construction workers wearing safety boots etc

The hadith is about the poor shepherds who were barefoot that we will see them competing in constructing tall buildings and that is a sign that the end is nigh.

I see the sentence is very clear.

Agreed and in the prophecies of the Baha'i Faith, our neglect of what God has offered will see many of these buildings fall.

There is a Bible passage about where one needs to build and on sand is the last place.

Matthew 7

24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

You just created a thread that reflects a time when I was collecting prophecies. Two different sources:

Quran 17:100-104 - Israel's birth. One translation of which is:
"Pharoah sought to scare them [the Israelites] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him [Pharoah] together with all who were with him. Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel]."

Crazy Horse's prophecy “Upon suffering beyond suffering; the Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of seven generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again. In that day there will be those among the Lakota who will carry knowledge and understanding of unity among all living things, and the young white ones will come to those of my people and ask for this wisdom. I salute the light within your eyes where the whole universe dwells. For when you are at that center within you and I am that place within me, we shall be as one."

None here. The idea that someone can predict the future makes no sense, and has never been proven. It's just superstition.

Yes it will be regarded as superstition to think that people will compete in
constructing tall buildings when such saying was 1500 years ago, but
here it's, the poor people few years ago are now competing with constructing
tall buildings, how that isn't interesting to you, regardless of religion.

Where did I say anything about life today isn't interesting? Building a tall building is science. The changing in the rights of women, and in the rights of people of any race or sexual identity is really interesting. I mean, who could predict that gays would be accepted by modern man?

I see the sentence is very clear.
Clear would be saying how tall, for example as tall as a giraffe or as tall as over 100 camels stacked one on top of the other.

Also you are changing, "if you see the barefoot, naked, shepherds of camels competing [for praise] in the construction of high-rise buildings" to people who were barefoot and poor are now competing in building tall buildings.

If there is that much room for post hoc rationalisation then the prophecy is highly ambiguous.

The prophecy isn't ambiguous but you wish it to be so, but it isn't.

What is the difference between modern man and gays, and why the gay need
an acceptance from you "modern man"

I have a prophecy that there will be a total solar eclipse on April 8 2024. The path of totality will start in the Pacific ocean, travel across Mexico and the USA, and end in the northern Atlantic ocean.

If desired, I can pinpoint to the minute where the shadow will be during that day.

I'd like to see *any* other religion make a prophecy as precise as this..

And during any number of empires, poor people were used to build large buildings. In fact, it was common long before Mohammad.

So?

They are interesting words and prayerful study and meditation can allow the true meanings to unfold for anyone who is sincere in heart.

God can predict the future and reveal His purpose through His Prophets such as Muhammad, Jesus and Moses. Often the language used is that of the spirit where true meanings are veiled and interpretation can vary widely.

That isn't a prophecy, it's like saying I predict that the sun will rise at 4.00 O'clock.

The Voluspa is the most well known Northern prophecy. The story is also known as the Prophecy of the Seeress.
