Ever heard of butting into another person's conversationism?
You are projecting the crimes of the 'west' onto Russia so it is relevant.See how I don't try to twist your words? How I actually respond to what you actually say instead of constantly dodging and avoiding? If you are ever interested in an actual conversation, you should try that.
No, I'm referring to Russia's actual crimes; You are projecting the crimes of the 'west' onto Russia so it is relevant.
Ah 'western' wikipedia, that well known source of intellectual and factual honesty!!! Is that it! Is THAT your evidence? Why won't you discuss the actual and very real crimes of the USA? Why are you covering up for them? Do they pay you? Are you in their employ?No, I'm referring to Russia's actual crimes;

Exactly! Likewise the 'west' moan about the advancement of Russian territory but attempt to encircle Russia with missiles. They have no problem with advancing NATO's borders in direct contravention of past agreements with Russia. The Russians didn't steal Crimea, they wanted to be part of Russia and overwhelmingly voted for it. It was the west that wanted to deny them that freedom and independence and used gangster tactics to attempt to enforce their will upon them. It was then the job of the western media to spin the situation into another reason to discredit Russia and it seems that propaganda worked on more than a few.
I have continually used wikipedia because it is the source YOU first cited.Ah 'western' wikipedia, that well known source of intellectual and factual honesty!!! Is that it! Is THAT your evidence? Why won't you discuss the actual and very real crimes of the USA? Why are you covering up for them? Do they pay you? Are you in their employ?
If you want to discuss American crimes, start a thread about them, that's not relevant here. So, are you going to respond to issues raised, or is wellpoisoning and attempted ad homs all you got?
More Tu quoque irrelevance. Try again.Exactly! Likewise the 'west' moan about the advancement of Russian territory but attempt to encircle Russia with missiles. They have no problem with advancing NATO's borders in direct contravention of past agreements with Russia.

I await your forthcoming dodge and/or handwave

Wikipedia is well known for lies and disinformation.
Deemed illegal by whom? They overwhelmingly voted for it... ?
That shows a complete disregard for the context. There were Russian troops occupying Crimea. It is no wonder the referendum was deemed illegal.
Deemed illegal by whom?
The western backed pro-west rebels that were actively undermining the democratic process? It amazes me, the western narrative is that Russia is undermining democracy by using trolls and ads on facebook, the same western powers that actively back rebel forces in the Crimea, Syria, and elsewhere to undermine, overthrow, and disrupt.
And the source is Wikipedia......By the UN. Only 11 countries acknowledged it back in 2014. And that is even counting Russia itself, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba and Syria, places also known as hell holes.
Are you even aware of what transpired in Crimea ?
"Following the Ukrainian revolution, on February 27 an emergency session was held in the Crimean legislature while it was occupied by members of Crimea’s self-defense forces.[2] After sealing the doors and confiscating all mobile phones, the MPs who had been invited by Aksyonov to enter the building, passed the motion in the presence of the gunmen armed with Kalashnikov's and rocket launchers.[2][16][28][29] The result was that 55 of 64 votes elected Aksyonov Prime Minister.[30] Various media accounts have disputed whether he was able to gather a quorum of 50 of his peers before the session convened that day, and some Crimean legislators who were registered as present have said they did not come near the building.[2] Others denied being in the city, and that duplicate voting cards stolen from the Parliament's safe were used in their name.[31] Opposition deputies have avoided speaking out publicly out of fear of reprisal, due to threats received.[31] Crimean Prime Minister Anatolii Mohyliov was barred from attending the session.[31]" - Source
There is nothing democratic about voting when you have a gun pointed to your head.
And the source is Wikipedia......
And so, out of his love and duty, Putin's (or his people) arranged for this journalist to be shot dead today: Russian journalist and Kremlin critic Arkady Babchenko shot dead in KievPutin ran not because he wanted to but because he felt compelled to do so for the love and duty he feels for his country and the many varied peoples of that land. If leaders of other nations felt compelled to serve their peoples instead of ego driven short term personal goals then those countries would be much better off. Politicians around the world need to pay heed, take note, and square themselves away.
Is that why it's been rated to be on par with Britannica in terms of accuracy?Wikipedia is well known for lies and disinformation.
Which is why I don't go out of my way posting on Russian language websites telling them how wrong they are.
