Could you tell me why that's not just semantics?

No, I didn't you aren't smart enough to understand what I am saying. I am saying you cannot get rid of your experience, it always comes back in what amounts to a second.

Bull****! Anyone can determine anything to be wrong.
I'm going to end this conversation now because of how unreasonable you're being.

Sometimes it's fun, as long as I stay out of the religious discussions. Atheists area a lot more fun than religious people. Most religious discussions are boring.
I believe my experience with atheists is that they repeat the same old inanities and that gets boring. I can always have fun with them over evolution though.

We all go to the same place, an afterlife devoid of suffering, of all the problems of this life. But that's because I believe in the atheist sect of a faith-based religion called Flawlessism.
I believe there is no evidence that everyone goes to the same place.

I believe beliefs also affect the afterlife. I have had experience in that regard.
? That isn't what I said though, I said the opposite, that beliefs only affect life BEFORE death, not after. So, if you're trying to convince me of something, you have to do more than just say that you have experience.

Instead of asking me to go hunt for it, you could also simply tell me.
I've been on this forum for quite some time. I haven't encountered any such reasons.

Your continued refusal to simply share it, tells me you don't have it.
COULD I tell you, you simpleton. Your god is Dawkins and to not assume but you break that oath consistently as does science.

I believe the only other thing than experience is written testimony of experience.

Simpleton:
  • A person who is felt to be deficient in judgment, good sense, or intelligence; a fool.
  • A person of limited or feeble intelligence; a foolish or silly person.
I've read quite a few of @TagliatelliMonster's posts, so I don't believe that he is a simpleton.

I found the poll question difficult to answer as stated. I think that every individual faces their own unique future post-death but that everyone will experience some things in common. Based on that I answered "No" but really I think it is both Yes and No.

My very belated answer to both title question and poll is 'I don't know and the answer isn't important to me.'

I honestly believe that worrying about the hereafter significantly detracts from the now. Often making people apathetic to living this life on its own terms.

I admittedly don't believe in souls or spirits, so most concepts of afterlife aren't even possible in my view.
But even theoretical physical resurrection style afterlife just come off as an unnecessary distraction to me.

If there's an afterlife, it won't be coloring how I deal with this one.
