I agree however, if someone makes a claim then surely they should be able to verify that claim

I understand, and I agree. However, in general, it doesn't make sense to me to argue and debate with an atheist in an attempt to persuade them to believe in anything supernatural or in suspected paranormal phenomena. I've had my fair share of interactions with skeptics (atheists and theists alike), and I've always told them that they can decide for themselves whether to believe in the paranormal or not. I've never attempted to persuade them to believe in anything considered to be supernatural (paranormal phenomena), as I do. I've had plenty of skeptics (atheists and theists alike) participate in paranormal investigations with me in the past. If one or more became argumentative about any potential evidence, then I firmly told them that they witnessed what everyone else participating in the investigation had witnessed, and they could decide for themselves whether to believe or not. I have the same personal boundaries on RF regarding not arguing with and debating others about my spirituality or my personal beliefs about potential paranormal phenomena.

You miss so much fun that way

Muffled

Jesus in me
the claim that Jesus ascended from heaven lacks empirical evidence, making it difficult to establish its occurrence with certainty. While the concept holds immense significance within Christian theology, its historical veracity remains a matter of faith rather than a proven fact.
I believe I just said that his testimony would not be accepted. You are proof of that.

Jesus in me
We don't know that yet though. The Hard problem of consciousness is solved by Consciousness being primary to reality though. So the soul might not disintegrate, it might just merge with the greater consciousness. I don't have proof, but I have seeds.
I believe there is no evidence that finite spirits can merge with the infinite Spirit.

I recently had my head examined and thankfully there were no tumors. However the doctor was not finished trying to come up with a material explanation rather than a spiritual one and claimed that my condition was a possible side affect of the medicine I am taking. I would call this materialistic bias.

Do you think that whatever happens after death, that atheists and theists will have the same fate as each other?
I might have answered this before but I am answering it again since another thought came to me.
Nobody will have 'the same fate' after death, we will all all have our own individual fates.
Moreover, nobody knows what their fate will be. Only God knows, because God knows all our fates.
That is why I am not banking on a glorious afterlife, like so many believers. I consider that arrogant.

As @Trailblazer said one persons fun is another person's nightmare.

I come to RF because i enjoy it and have fun. If it were not fun i wouldn't be here.

My time spent on RF can be enjoyable at times, but it can also be very informative. I have two primary objectives for being on RF, other than to meet and interact with others who share my spiritual beliefs or my beliefs about the afterlife. My first primary objective is to share my experiences with paranormal phenomena with others who have either never had any experiences themselves or who have had one and are seeking an explanation for what happened to them. I've had personal experiences with paranormal phenomena since I was six years old, and I'm fifty now. That is forty-four years of experience that I can share and discuss on this forum. My second primary objective for being on this forum is to learn about other people's spiritual beliefs (or lack thereof), including their views on the afterlife. What I've learned on this forum has, in fact, helped me interact more effectively with the skeptics I encounter, either during a paranormal investigation or in other situations, who share or hold similar beliefs to those of some members. For example, reading the posts of JWs who discuss their beliefs regarding the afterlife has helped me interact effectively with the ones that I meet in real life. As an added benefit to reading these posts, I realized that my own beliefs about demons and the devil were lingering remnants of my Christian indoctrination and that I needed to let go of these beliefs and reevaluate them. Lastly, I'll admit that RF has become an online haven for me when real life becomes too hectic and overwhelming.

I'm interested in magic.

If you can teach me in pm or a thread, what you know about it, I would appreciate.

We all go to the same place, an afterlife devoid of suffering, of all the problems of this life.
I believe we all go to a spiritual world, which is not a place but rather another dimension.
I believe we will all be devoid of suffering in the afterlife, and we will no longer have all the problems of this life, since it is the physical world that causes these problems.

Other than that, I believe there is such a thing as the suffering of the soul, psychic suffering, that some people may experience.
