Nimrod.S/he asked you to support your claims, not pretend you didn't make them.
What are your sources?Doesn't change the reality, buddy. It never happened.
My opinions.Uh-huh... sure.
What are you going on about?
My opinions.
The Bible isn't a source on any mythology but yours.Nimrod.
Genisis 10:8 The sons of Ham, Cush Begat Nimrod.
Ham is the son of Noah.
Don't let the door hit ya on the way out.Well, I'll Leave off talking in this forum, If it's this way.
No, this forum is created for people who know how to support their claims. What is it?
Is this forum created to use against Christians and all you have to do is say,'' sources?
History and science. What are sources besides somebody elses story that they are telling?
I don't make claims I can't support. You might want to learn from that.It is what I believe, If you had to give a source for everything you said, It wouldn't get very far, and if it's all myth to you guys, what's the difference?
Says the guy who can't stop whining just because we don't swallow his bull.I aint never seen so many crybabies.
Now, as for the flood story, there is no evidence that it actually happened. The only defense people have is that various cultures have flood stories. That simply is not proof, and is actually expected. Modern cultures have flood stories. The difference is that we are aware of a wider world.
We can look at historical records, and see there was no major flood. We can look at the flood story, and see that it is completely implausible. We can look at archeology, and see no evidence at all (no global markers of a flood as would be expected, and no evidence of a massive destruction of millions of animals (a flash flood like that would have been responsible for many fossils), no evidence of a later world wide migration and repopulation), we can even just look at the cultures of different areas and see that the supposed floods happened at different times and that there were cultures active during the supposed flood.
Any world history book will show at least the last to be true.
Opinions are like buttholes. Everyone has one and they all stink. :yes:My opinions.
While the exact dates are not known to me, I happen to know that Isis, Osiris, Nephthys, and Seth were born on four consecutive (but different) days. Yes, two of them are Goddesses. If you want to stick to Gods then you are still talking about two different days. No other Gods had been born on these days previously, as the days were won for the sole purpose of giving birth to these Deities. That means the previous Gods were born on days other than the days that Osiris and Seth were born on.
It could be possible. Oral tradition would some what explain the various ideas surrounding it.Do you think the global flood story (since so many different cultures have one) could be ancestral memory from post-glacial times in man's history? Just postulating... off-topic though it is...
Besides, how could Christians, who have been around for at least 2,000 years steal holidays from a religion that is barely 60 years old?
They're not just Wiccan holidays. Pagan holidays in general, having dated back long before Christianity.
Why is it so stupid?
Nimrod was the Grandson of Noah, Builder of Babylon, Builder of the great cities, and his son was Hammurabi which gave us the first recorded codex, son of Ham.
This codex cannot be seperated from the levitical law in that it has so many common starnge threads.
If so many countries worship this lone survivor from which all men came{As I believe}, doesn't it seem logical that all worship was derived from the great man who cheated death?
