Here is what the Bab says (provisional translation):

"There can thus be no doubt about this for a Muslim: the Qur’án was created by God, men and demons are incapable of producing even a single verse: hence, whatever is a verse, is the work of God. That[Hence] if you say that I am Myself the Author, you ascribe a lie to the Qur’án which has foreseen your objection;
but, if He had not done so[foreseen your objection], that God is the master of the events of this world [is evident]: if He gave to the Prophets Whom He sent proofs of their mission, it is impossible that He did not unmask every charlatan who wished to pass himself off as sent by Him, risking thus the success of His work of salvation. How from then on could He permit a false prophet to produce verses which, by
definition, are [of] divine manufacture? On the contrary, He would paralyze the hand that wished to write them, the tongue that wished to speak them, the brain that wanted to compose them before such a
blasphemy could take place.
Furthermore, since you believe in the divinity of the verses, because they are the work of God, because men and demons would be incapable of producing them, how can you say that if I produce them, they do not come from heaven?

Thanks,

I had a quick look, this what I found:

"The section THE HOLIEST consists of the first twelve books. It is primarily about creation and history. These books explain how God has directed the human and his history for the last 12,000 years."

He does not claim he has new commands from God, or these are words of God.

Where does he say that. Once you found some examples please quote here.

He has other books. See the golden keys. And he does claim they are revealed by God and written by him (the Maitreya). Al lof them history books and philosophy and commandments and new plan for the world. He claims they are revelations from God.

The thing is Link, the false Prophet is cut off from any lasting influence, it is not immediate.

I will read more tonight, what I have read doee quote the Bible and then gives explanations.

Sure, I am saying show where in his books God is speaking. Here is your chance to refute the Bab forever.
I am just saying find one example from anyone who ever claimed to be a Messiah, a Prophet a Mahdi a Maitreya such a thing to disprove the Bab. Just try...

Yet you can't know influence yet (he is alive now) and per Islamic and Bahai text, believers can be few, so that's not a measurement.

For one, there was a fake Nabi during Mohammad (S) time, so that already refutes what Bab said. Maybe the Bab was not aware of that. But secondly, the Maitreya says these are revealed by God.

He was born on the 100th Anniversary of the Declaration of the Bab and in the City where the Bab made that Declaration.

My guess is this person knows of the Baha'i Teachings.

Quran says Mohammad is seal of Prophets. Baha'allah says it means all Prophets are each other, Adam is last Prophet, Mohammad is Adam, type meaning, they are all last Prophet and first Prophet meaning.

Bab says 1000 years before the one God will manifest after him. Baha'allah interprets it to mean something, something, but then uses the exact same verse and says "whoever interprets it other then me other then it's apparent meaning, then don't follow him" (something like that).

Maitreya says well the apparent meaning is that no one other then a manifestation of God can interpret it, just as he interpreted Babs words in that apparent way, so it's the apparent meaning, but only a Prophet is to interpret it.

And so my question to Bahais. Why don't they accept Maitreya?

He "verifies"- "all Prophets" like your Baha'allah and includes Baha'allah.

Have you read his text? What makes you think his text is not from God? How do you know it's not your hearts not seeing the light?

Which Maitreya are you speaking about brother? What text?

This is from his childhood story.

"...It was also in this period that his spiritual longings and questions were frustrated by not finding adequate answers for them. He had reached a point where he said, "If you show me God, then I will accept Him. If you can't show me, then I can't believe in something that I cannot see."..."

When you read of the Bab and Baha'u'llah, at this age, they were already known for their knowledge of God, they could already answer any question about God and offer explanations that astonished the most learned.

Also

"...He became an atheist, you can say, and he was comfortable with it. He didn't think too much about these things any more..."

His story did it for me. I need look no further.

He is not a Messenger.

Good find. This for sure to me proves he is a false Prophet. But if we go by @InvestigateTruth words about God trying us by whatever he wishes, it can be a test!

Hi Link. Who are you referring to when you say Maitreya and can you show me a link to His texts? Thank you.
