Quran and women

It is the reality of the accident in many Muslim communities ..
I have read of a period of preachers in America that the beating in the verse is not known for beating ..
It means "striking" examples of even convinced wife to obey her husband ..
This all depends on the ignorance of the reader the sense of non-Arab verse and the context in which it came ..This all depends on the ignorance of the reader the sense of non-Arab verse.I speak Arabic and I also know this verse well
It means beating
I wish I could be helpful to you my
Even not working on the distortion of religion

Welcome for joining it.
You are simply wrong. When we discuss Quran we focus on it and the context given by it as advised by G-d in Quran:

[38:30] This is a Book which We have revealed to thee, full of blessings, that they may reflect over its verses, and that those gifted with understanding may take heed.

FearGod is just doing that.

Irrelevant. The lexicon and translation of the text support my view. Your argument changes the definition with a word from a different context, nothing more.

It would be like saying "I am going down to the bank to withdraw man" then switching the meaning of bank with the definition from a different sentence like "I am going down to the bank to fish"

Here is the verse in the lexicon

http://corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=4&verse=34#(4:34:1)

Here is it from the Uni of South Cali

https://www.usc.edu/org/cmje/religious-texts/quran/verses/004-qmt.php

Here is another with multiple translations. There is a consensus as only one does not say strike or beat.

You have a website from your group. I have a lexicon from a Uni and a citation from another. Academia trumps your opinion.

And the prophet of God disagree with you, his last sermon which witnessed by a huge gathering never
said that men should beat their women but it's the opposite and which is they should be kind with women.

Irrelevant in light of the verse in question. Beside since I do not believe the premise the Quran is from God. Humans are well known to hold contradictory views. Abusers tell their wives they love them but still abuse them.

Even the idea it is the right of men that their women "...do not make friends with any one whom you do not approve" doesn't sit well with many people.

All of the ideas about women in Islam reflect much closer to how we view/treat children. Think about it in light of 4:34 - saying men are in charge because they spend their wealth on women...an argument parents often use on their kids. When they are being bad you are to advise/instruct them first, send them to their bed second, and third hit/spank. Pretty much the same way people often discipline children, is the same way instructed to discipline a wife.

Treating women closer to the level of children rather than the same/equal level as adults - just won't ever sound right outside of the cultures where Islamic ideologies condition it.

Everything that disagree with you is irrelevant but actually it's.

If your wife made a friendship with a prostitute and she asked you (if she even cares to ask) that she wants to
spend few nights with her friend in the other town, what will you do ?

Okey, take care darling or you'll say "you're free darling, don't be late, i'll miss you ?

No, women aren't treated like children but we care that our community to be free from the prostitutes
and the sexually transmitted diseases that is now spreading all over the world due the filthy humans.

What does prostitution or STDs have to do with this?

Why would I know better as far as who to befriend or not to befriend than my wife does?

My wife doesn't need my permission to go visit anybody or go anywhere. She usually thinks for herself and makes those choices for herself. She doesn't need me to advise or restrain her from hanging out with prostitutes.

Really , i sort it as an example for kinds of friendships, doesn't prostitution exist or you want just to ignore it ?

So you don't care if she chose a prostitute to be her close friend.

Yes, so you'll say take care darling. ;)

I respect her as a free, intelligent adult. That's all there is to it really.

The mindset is completely different. Our worldview and laws aren't based on wives being teenage women needing male induced and enforced restraint and obedience.

Does it make sense?

Aha, let me give you a better example for the women's freedom.

You came to your house and found your wife alone with a stranger, then you asked here( if you're allowed to ask)
who's that guy, then she answered, he's my close friend, then you asked "what he's doing here", she answered "
he teaches me dancing and he's great darling,he's amazing.

I know that you may say she's free as for what she wants to do and you can't ask her not to do what she thinks
is right for her, if you decide then to divorce her then that'll be kind of punishment for her freedom of choice, so yes, close
the door and sleep well and let her learn dancing.

And excuse me, but what is so bad about prostitutes? Not all of them are doing it for drug money or because they're out of control whores. Some have been sex trafficked, others because they have to feed families, others because they have no other means. As much as I don't like prostitution in and of itself, the girls/women themselves are not always bad people and sometimes just need help. Prostitutes are humans too, just like anybody else. Also, a lot of them aren't thick - they use condoms and other methods.

I sort it as an example, i ain't discussing prostitution in this thread.

Why not? Isn't that exactly what an Islamic wife is? "Women have to do what we tell them to and go to bed with us when we want it because we spend our money on them."? Sounds like it.

I know you don't want your men to wake up and they won't, so you don't have to worry about it.;)
Do you learn dancing or you have another hobbies ?

Actually thinking you may have a psychic gift now...we do party with prostitutes and dance instructors, even the kids join in.
