random info about your pet

Since we have a random info about ourselves I wanted to know about everybody's pet.

(If you don't have one and want to post on this thread well than what are you waiting for ..go out and buy one silly!!)

I have a 23 pound toy poodle named Buddy. I didn't name him and he answers to just about anything and will follow me even when I am not talking. One quirk about Buddy is from time to time he sleeps on his back. I think he learned it from me. But he is sleeping in the bed with me sometimes and I will wake-up in the night to see him on his back sound asleep all four legs sticking up in the air.

My cat has her own page on Catster: http://www.catster.com/pet_page.php?j=t&i=78604

I woke up at 4am today, and was about to stumble through my bedroom door on the way to the shower, when I noticed a (very) small, dark lump in the doorway. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a dead, half-chewed mouse that Robin (my cat), must have brought in with her and stashed earlier in the night. I was not amused.

has she ever brought you a dead mouse as a show of affection..as a present? I have seen cats do that before.

He's probably afraid that if he sleeps on his belly, and starts running in his sleep, that he'll end up in a strange neighborhood.:D

Only every one she's ever caught - plus all the birds and lizards too. I came home sick from work today and went to bed, but left my window open so she could come in and out...within an hour she was inside, and doing "that meow" - the one that says "Mum! I've got a present for ya, aren't I great?!". :sarcastic It was another mouse...she must have found a nest, cause they're tiny. I just love getting all these "offerings"...truly...

Here is our Baby. Her name is Baby. She is our alarm clock in the morning. carrdero loves to be woken up by her whining early in the morning :biglaugh: . I don't hear her. She doesn't bother me. She would lay on my head and I wouldn't even know she is there. She will stand by the door when carrdero comes home. She will sit on his lap while he is playing or sitting on the couch watching TV. She will lay on the bed with me when carrdero is working the over nights and I am home by myself. She thinks the bedroom is hers. She thinks the bed is all hers because she will lay on the bed all day while we are at work. Then when it is time for us to go to bed, she expects to sleep with us. Either that or she wants us to sleep in the living room while she takes over the bed.

If I make the mistake of bringing my purse into the living room while the ferret is out and running, he'll immediately make a run for it, open the zipper, crawl in and then dart back out with my glasses. Then it's a foot race to see whether we get to him before he gets underneath the couch.

I had a cat a few years back that brought me love offerings. One morning I woke up to find I was lying on a dead mouse. To this day I am not sure whether it was one of kitty cow's love offerings or whether it actually crawled across the bed and I happened to roll over and smother it (ewwwww!).

We have a little daschund that's somewhat neurotic. She will beg a person to pet her, growl, tense up, but wag her tail all the same. If they stop petting her, she nips at them to get them to pet her. If they move wrong, she goes ballistic and will forever try to take their arm off (well, as much as her little mouth can get lol).

We addopted a rescue bearded collie/Spaniel cross puppie when she was just 6 weeks old. She is now a lady (going on for 8 years old). She has the character of an angel indoors; Marie trained her from scratch; the training wasn't so good when we're out though! If she sees a cat, a squirell-anything she can try and catch, she goes completely deaf - does'nt hear a single command! We love her to bits, and, after Marie and the boys, she's my best friend. Sometimes, I'm quite convinced she 'picks up' on my moods! She is a 'people' Dog; she sees a stranger, rushes up to him/her, rolls on her back to have her tummy tickled!

We have four cats - all a little older than a year, so I'm always covered in cat fur! One of them's a bit schizophrenic and always seems to be playing with toys that aren't there, and watching things that aren't happening. It's very funny to watch her.

My dog is a wire haired fox terrier cross. His name is Mac (it's actually McVittie, but that's a mouthfull) and he looks like Falkor the luck dragon out of Never Ending Story, except he's black. My cat is a big fat lump with a stumpy tail (he's a manx) and a poor attitude. His name is Rudyard Kipling (I'm not responsible for that one) and we call him Kip. He's about 8 years old now, and got run over on Boxing Day about 5 years ago. He walks in front of the car as we drive up the driveway. Hubby said,'I'm going to run over that bloody cat one day,' then there was the 'thump' and the shape of the cat racing off into the distance. He came back the next morning feeling very sorry for himself, but the only problem he has is one of his legs is a bit stiff when it's cold. My sister also shut his tail in the door when he was a kitten. Damned if I know how she managed that...it's all of an inch long.

I have a 6 month old pitbull, fish, and a tarantula. the tarantula is not my idea for a pet i hate spiders but my nephew loves them and i promised him i would get him one. Of course his mom didn't want it in her house so now it stays with me. I must say it is actually pretty cool to see him make webs in the cage.

At home, I have a catmutt hamed Kristy (aka: whiskerface, fuzzface, fuzzbutt, squeaky, boo). She weighs about 8 pounds (little kitty), and is a black/dark brown smoke color. Smoke colors are those where, if you were to look at a hair, the bottom half would be white and the top half would be, in Kristy's case, black/dark brown. Very cute, very soft, very fuzzy.

She is a real people-cat. She'll walk all the way to the other side of the house to find someone to escort her to her food dish. Seirously. She also loves sitting on laps and snuggling in bed with you at night. And if you don't have room for her, too bad, she'll push your hand, newspaper, books, laptop, whatever, away until there /is/ room.

Here at school, I have a hermit crab named Tybalt (Tibby for short). He's a little guy, very cute, very friendly. He likes to play in his water dish. And he loves potato chips. He's such a pig.
