Random Personal Information

Since I'm choosing the personal info to reveal, I can't call it random... so here's a another piece of who I am:

For the last four days, I was scuba diving under 2 feet of ice in water too muddy to see through. And had fun doing it :D

I happen to love mushrooms.
I spend WAY too much time on this site when I have computer access, no matter what I'm doing.
I always order a foot long chilli dog when I eat at Sonic.

Me too! I live around the corner from an Indian food market. They have Indian t.v. dinners. Yum!

More random info:

My grandmother was "prescribed" cigarrettes by a doctor when she was young. Back then they actually thought it was GOOD for your lungs.

No*s I can relate to you. I was a crazy b---- before I became a Christian. I don't even wanna get into some of the awful things I did, I probably could still be arrested for some of them. If I'd kept going on the same way, I probably would've gotten arrested for assault, killed someone, or killed myself. Now the worst thing I do is I occasionally have a potty mouth.

And I'm working on that one! My husband helps a lot, he considers "shut up" a curse phrase. So we say "hush please". You never realize how much your friends influence you, at least with cussing.

As do I; it is rapidly becoming the most popular food in the UK. Did you know, by the way, that 'Curry' is not a word used in India, that it was a generic food type name invented by the British ?:)

I've heard that chicken tikka massala was actually invented in Glasgow when someone requested 'gravy' with their chicken.

My ex's parents where from Pakistan, and when they cooked for me it was nothing like the take-away food. They were quite upset when I said I preferred it from the shop.

Sci Fi for me would have been the Dune series.

I am perpetually messy, and have books, papers, clothes, everything scattered about. However, I tend to put food up in specific places and don't leave spills lying about. I was so messy that...I nearly got kicked out of the dorms in college for it.

My cars transmission screwed up on my way to my parents today. So I had to call AAA and get it towed. I really hate cars, well, atleast the crappy ones like that New Yorker. My dads 300 C though, I ADORE!!! My favorite car that I'd never be able to own, would be a McLaren F1. Favorite car I would be able to own, would be a 1969 Camaro SS, with a 454 big block. OH YEAH!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I travelled to London and saw all of the Indian resteraunts there. It makes sense, but I never thought about it before going there.

Master Vigil my father probably has a car you would love. A 1978 Cobra II Shelby Mustang. Boss 302 and in primo condition. Wins first place in car shows constantly and runs like nothing else.

I dropped my driver's license in college, because I never used it, couldn't get a car anytime soon, loathed driving, and well, was dangerous as a driver :p.

I had no idea for all those years that Americans wrote the date different. Then the papers started referring to "9/11" (which is ninth of November to me).
I think that's when I found out that they wrote the date different too.

I like writing the dates that way because it makes more sense to me to go from least to detailed.
Your logic makes perfect sense to me (and the fact that here in Australia we write the date the European way has nothing to do with it :p ). You don't look at the number 8,372 and call it "three hundred, eight thousand and seventy two". :bonk: Give me day/month/year any day over month/day/year.

I have 2 cars -

A Suzuki Swift that's cheap to drive as a commuter car and a Ford F350 diesel 4WD flatbed that's expensive to drive, but will haul just about anything just about anywhere I need to take it.

I used to drive a 1985 RX7. That was a fun car.

Sometimes I drive big red fire trucks.

Nah, mustangs aren't my thing. They're girl cars in my opinion, and they started to get ugly after 1970. Of course my opinion, so all you Mustang freaks, don't kill me. (those people are nuts.) You can definitely tell the difference between mustang freaks, and corvette freaks.

Actually I am not a Ford fan and I consider Corvettes crumple cars. Mustangs really changed after the 70's dear. It has been in recent years they have all started to look alike. I guess they are now going to try to use their old Shelby model for their newer cars because more people liked them. They are sportier.

Myself, I just have a small simple car to get me from point A to point B. '95 Mitsubishi Mirage 2-door red sports coupe. I got it for safety reasons. It has so many saftey features in it and I know they work because I have been slammed into by a old 1/2 ton truck and thrown into another street and the little thing just needed a little body work and still runs fine. Except for neck and back strain that I still suffer from, no major injuries to anyone in the car. I love my little tank! I even take it offroad with no probs...imagine that!
