My view of storms might be messed up. See growing up in NC you get tornados and hurricanes. They happen. But i have trouble taking them seriously. This may be due to my folks not having taken my concerns regarding storms seriously. We'd be fine but fears regarding them my folks would push away. Once around the age of 10 i heard about a tornado bout to hit the area. I read a lot on them and i was terrified. My folks knew i was scared but laughed at me saying well be fine dont worry. I legit went upstairs and started packing a bag. I being a kid filled said bag with books even tho that wouldn't be useful in a tornado. I just was afraid and sure in my mind that the house was going to be destroyed and wanted my books if that happened. My folks asked me what i was doing i told them packing in case the storm hits. They yelled at me for doing this. Then laughed at me. Made fun of me for packing books instead of stuff that actually would be useful. The house was still standing but I just distantly remember my fears being dismissed and that everything was fine the storm didny destroy the house. Now everytime I hear about hurricanes hitting NC or a tornado in the area I struggle to take it serious. This changed a bit last year when a tornado legit passed right next to the group home while we were taking cover. I legit watched on my phone the storm being tracked and it went right by our house. Terrified me. And hearing about what happened to Asheville it's completely destroyed there. I don't live in Asheville but a friend of mine has family there. I don't know if they survived.

So im a bit worried about my views regarding storms now.

Sounds like my parents and how I am now. I get really annoyed amd angered when I'm made to shelter. My own fears as a child were dismissed, downplayed and ridiculed by parents, with them even getting irritated at me at times over it.
And now? I want to be in a hurricane. I don't think this is so much autism and not recognizing danger, I believe it's heavily I was raised to not be afraid. Especially because most times the tornado isn't near enough to be dangerous. But even when it is I'll decide when I shelter amd eventually I might but it's gonna take more than just a nearby touch down. It's got to be a very close touchdown and heading my way. Otherwise I was dragged into this sort of crazy and I'm gonna watch it. Good for others they weren't primed for it, but I was and I'm going to enjoy the storm.

I just looked up furry conventions NC. There's a few annual ones but a good majority were cancelled this year due to the hurricane. However im excited. I didn't know that NC had furry conventions. I was worried if I wanted to go to one I'd have to fly out. This means while I ain't got one to go to this year maybe next year or another year I can go to one.

I may get more math books. But this should be a good starter to get better at math.

I finished the lesson plan project that due November 24th. All that is left for me to do the following:
*A separate page that states why you chose the theme and why you believe your lesson plan will be successful for children who participate in the activities. Please also state what you hope the children will know or learn by the end of the planned week.

I'll do that tomorrow. I'm ready to sleep.

I have decided on a science activity for the assignment I have to do where I teach a science concept to kids and record it. My boss said I can borrow two kids at the preschool.
The 7 concepts we have to choose from only have to teach one:
Observing
Comparing
Classifying
Measuring
Communicating
Inferring
Predicting

The concepts came from here that the professor letting us choose from:

Here's the activity-
How far can we make this toy car go?

I have to work on the details but the goal of the activity is to make a toy car go as far as possible. We would have to work with building ramps(do steeper ramps make the car go farther), can we add anything to the car to make it go far, and we also would have to measure the distances the toy car goes.

Ed Roberts tho is my hero. He was amazing.

Im having a really annoying issue. So there's always some hair thinning involved with starting T as a transperson. Doesn't always mean the person is balding and it's too soon to tell if that's the case with me. If i am I dont really care it's part of aging. But it just is a fact men typically have less thick hair on their head then women and my hair was already thin. Anyway either way im losing hair like crazy. It's like every few minutes im removing hair from my phone
I don't know if this is normal. I ran my hands through my hair just now. This is what happened

But its like that amount anytime i run my hands through my hair. It could be trans related or maybe I'm just stressed. Idk. If it's stress it's not the first tine ive lost hair due to it.

You spoke very clearly and articulated very well throughout the entire video. You also sounded quite confident. I think you did well and the story of Ed Roberts is quite inspiring!

You ever buzzed your hair or anything of the sort? Not that I’m suggesting it, but buzz cuts are cool.) (Buzz cuts are just when the barber takes the clippers like a #2 or something and does it the same length all around).

If you find yourself losing more hair, maybe you can totally own it! There’s a moment in the show Breaking Bad where the main character is losing hair then he is like “screw it” and shaves his head and that was his iconic look.

I've buzzed it myself lol. But I am trying to grow my hair out. If I lose too much I'll buzz it again.

It's not the fact im losing hair that bothers me. It the fact it's everywhere. It gets annoying. Im shedding like crazy.

Looking it up telogen effluvium is what its called when it's due to stress or meds.

From: Telogen Effluvium: Symptoms, Causes, Treatment & Regrowth

Telogen effluvium has heavy shedding and rapid loss. Male- and female-pattern hair loss has slow thinning.

That could be how to tell. If it's rapid it's likely stress and meds. If it's slow it's due to T and male pattern baldness.

Zoloft and latuda both meds I take can also cause hair loss.
