A load of unwarranted assumptions is what you call "reason"?
There is no reliable evidence that God even exists let alone has a son in my view.

Having said that I'll lay my cards on the table, I do believe in a God that is disinterested in the material realm, but not due to the process of complete impartial reason.

Still since I do not share your starting premise that God has a Son, nor do I believe your premise that God has interest in the material realm you will find it an uphill struggle to convince me your post is reason to believe in my opinion.

I dispute that its a fact that God made any material thing.

What reliable evidence do you have that God made things which is sufficient to overturn the vast body of scientific evidence that things formed under their own properties, and perhaps equally importantly, are you even aware of the scientific evidence?

Yes, but I'll not try to convince you otherwise, thank you.

So what is the point in believing in a God that has no interest in the material realm?

To have an answer to the burning question, "What started it all?".

There are many pointless things in the universe, my beliefs are one of those.

I dont believe God started it all. I would not describe myself as a deist because a deist believes that at some initial point God intervened in the material realm at least enough to kick it all off.

Jesus is the Messiah, because He did many miracles. Among His Miracles was, He said He shall come again, and He verily did come again.

You cannot demonstrate that Jesus did any miracles, only add "verily" word salad in an appeal to King James Version Bible believers who have been indoctrinated to believe that such word salad is a sign of truthfulness in my view.

Protestant you mean. Mormons are Christians too. I knew you were, but Mormonism has Jesus as the creator, not Yahweh himself. Not all Catholic/Protestant folks believe that Jesus was from the beginning.

So why don't you believe the writers of the Bible? Do you think they all were lying?

They were a mixture of delusional, speculators without reliable evidence and outright liars in my view.
I am a 63-year-old former "born again" Christian (Holy Roller). I have recently concluded the following: Blind faith is a SCAM, the Bible is an ancient book of mythology that is manipulative, contains gas lighting and was written by anonymous people. MUCH of Scripture appears to be anonymous people simply trying to rationalize their beliefs, which were NOT founded on any verifiable evidence. The Bible is NOT an accurate history book. It is a carefully amalgamated book of truth and fiction. It is loaded with contradictions, convoluted ambiguity, manipulations, gaslighting, superstitions & fictions. Many thousands of people worldwide seem to agree with me on this. My statement is based on the past 63 years of critical thinking, education, exploration, and experience with religion including Bible studies, sermons, prayer, Peter Parker debates (streamed live on TikTok since October 2022) & the late comedian/philosopher George Carlin. :)
