Religion vs. Faith

If you look up "Jewish cross" on ebay you will also find things to buy. Do you think that someone's labeling something on ebay makes it fact?

Rosary beads with a star at the end of them are in no way Jewish. For some bizarre reason, someone made them and listed them, but that just means that the person who did so is either misguided, or is trying to fool other people. And sadly, it seems, some were fooled.

Actually, the creator of these Jewish rosaries, a young Jewish woman, got the idea after the traditional, Catholic rosary was popularized as a fashion accessory by certain celebrities. These Jewish rosaries are being made strictly as pieces of fashion jewelry. Along the way, the young woman has faced some criticism about the rosaries in regard to their being based on religious iconography, but she has said that her jewelry is not intended to mock or insult Catholicism. Whatever one thinks of the young lady's judgement is making these things, it is important to remember that they are not being made as religious objects.
