You are a communist. You tell me instead of being snarky about why they openly said they are trained Marxists if it has nothing to do with the movement.
How many actually said that?
Is there evidence that it's true?
If true, to what percentage of BLM
members would it actually apply?
Or is it like your excusing things Trump
says as just trolling the other side?

It's because he saw someone who doesn't look like him on the outside assumed she isn't where she came from.

You already said that and I replied by asking you how you know for sure that he made that assumption.

You still haven't provided an answer.

Repeating an unfounded reason for your outrage doesn't make it any more grounded in reality.

Is it necessary to be sure
when venturing an opinion?
It's a reasonable opinion, given
the boor's command to go back
to where she came from.

Go ahead and ignore what the founders of blm said. Everybody else knows what they said.

It's not a reasonable opinion IMO.

Especially not reasonable enough to get outraged by.
Do you believe the insult wasn't based
upon appearance?
It's outrageous even if his target were an
immigrant or descended from from them.
It is the utter dismissal of someone else's
views because he felt they didn't belong
here as much as he does.
That's what the insult means.

I'm leaning towards a total disparagement of another person's views because he thought her opinion was worthless and ridiculous at best and harmful to society at large at worst. In fact, I kind of agree with him. I'm really sick of this "WE'RE INFESTED WITH NAZIS!!!" hysteria. It's bull**** that has been going on for too long and it in fact emboldens the influence of the very small percentage of actual white supremacist groups in the west.

And I'm white - and yes; I've had more than one person tell me to "go back to where I came from" or something to that effect in order to get me to shut up - typically when I was young, naïve, arrogantly militant about politics and didn't know much about the real world.

His position is that discrimination doesn't exist in Idaho. Let's face it, the idea that Idaho is free from discrimination is laughable.
Trish Carter-Goodheart related her own experiences of being on the receiving end of discrimination as well as well some very public acts by hate groups in the state.
Hate makes a comeback in Idaho, this time with political support
The Southern Poverty Law Center which tracks hate group activity and membership indicates that Idaho has a much higher than average per capita number of individuals as part of hate groups.

Was here personal experiences of discrimination worthless?

Tis fascinating that you find his insult appropriate.

I don't.

I think he freaked out and acted childishly and cowardly during a public Q&A-style debate between the public and him, a public official. He was pathetic and he spat the dummy at this woman and the people he was speaking to and representing. That's not appropriate at all.

But this "OMG HE TOLD AN INDIAN TO GO BACK TO WHERE SHE CAME FROM WHEN HIS PEOPLE GENOCIDED HER PEOPLE!!!" stuff is - like I said - just outrage porn.

Frankly, going over this exchange with a fine tooth comb to find something to be pissed off about in the context of social justice and political correctness is a better example of what's wrong with our society than anything else.

There was nothing he said that could be agreed or disagreed with - he just acted like a twat.

And - yes - I think her greivance was ****. It's pathetic that he chose to act like a toddler rather than responding to low hanging fruit.

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
We agree that Marxism is a hideous system.
But I ask questions to discover the significance.
You've not shown that they really are trained Marxists.
OK at least two out of the three founders are self proclaimed Marxists.
