I have to reakize there is that sort of hateful toxicity when it comes to Evangelical conservatives, and then thise who are fundamentalists and are dogmatically toxic. Again, it is not just about advertising dollars. News agencies can and do get sued. It is not good for the when that happens. They lose both credibility and money. Luckily for FOX the watchers do not care that much about honesty, so FOX regularly lying does not hurt their ratings with them. But those that are lied about can harm the company in return. Do you remember the young white high school student that was actually being taunted by a Native American and he did not react besides smirking and how that story was misreported by CNN? They got sued for that and lost a good chunk of money. They also lost credibility. Carlson has been part of two of FOX's lawsuits and he is going to be part of at least a third one. Firing him may have been an attempt to show that they are trying to clean up their act.

Do you think that he will mend his ways? If not he will simply be sued again. The first time he got off for the Tucker Carlson defense. That will not work a second time. Why do you like him? Is it because he says what you want to hear? You might want to think about that. If what you want to hear is just a pack of lies, and if it comes from Tucker you can bet that it is, then you might seriously want to reconsider your core beliefs.

Fox might be gone too now TC is gone. He was the most watched on FOX. But I will be surprised if TC won't start something new, and become more famous, unless American censorship is as bad as in China of course

I keep hearing this 'TC speaks the truth'.

I'm yet to hear any of these people address comments TC made about Jacqui Heinrich. Or his contradiction of John Kirby on the Ukraine being a hot war (re : US involvement) or that he censored The Daily Caller from writing negative press about Fox, or...well...lots of stuff.

Just an assertion that he tells the truth. It's frankly weird.
