Science IS religion

Regardless of what you claim, you are a defender of the faith of so called origin sciences!
Actually I'm smart enough to realize there is no "origin sciences" and that science has no answer for the biogenesis of life.

For man, TOE does not happen in the proverbial pond. It is more recent. When you imagine yourself to be relatives with worms no need to worry about the fantasies before that you can start there!

May I ask why you have a picture of Einstein as your avatar?
Well I do not disagree with GR as it exists or relates to the fishbowl. I also think it is fine to have a speed limit IN the fishbowl for light. It is also good to realize that relativity is only relative to the fishbowl and IN the fishbowl.

Will the poster really post in the third person?

Will the above answer ONE (1) SINGLE QUESTION?

Can the poster above do it without lies and insults?

Stay Tuned! More artificial Drama from Creationists Led To Knowledge but Refusing To Think.

It means they would take the food and you might think it was because of your religion. They would know better:)

Yes-yes-- everyone agrees: Dogs, Cats and Horses know better than Creationists.

Because they do not believe in Invisible Super Sky Beings what grant Wishes (prayers)

Relativity has been demonstrated "outside the fishbowl." And that doesn't answer my question.

Well the thread is about a belief set of origin sciences. Do you believe in the TOE? BB? If that is too hard to answer maybe baby steps here..do you believe the nose is really on your face? Do you believe in last week?

No. No. No. And? No.

Preface: belief is wishing that something is "true" even if there is absolutely no reason to do so.

When you have facts? You do not need belief: you have knowledge.

One-- I do not believe in the Scientific Theory of Evolution. I know that creatures evolved-- as I have studied the evidence proving that they did and do. I also accept as reasonable, the Scientific Evidence of Evolution-- which I will continue to do, unless something better comes along with more evidence. And It better be GOOD, as there are literally thousands of human-years of accumulated EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF EVOLUTION.

Two-- I do not believe in the Big Bang Theory. I grudgenly accept that it's the best Model of the Universe we have... so far. Some day, it may be replaced-- it will certainly be refined as time goes forward.

Three -- no. I have no need to believe there is a nose on my face, but I think it very likely-- I have evidence that seems to indicate there is one. I could be mistaken, but the odds of that are non-zero, but vanishingly small.

Four-- no. I have no need to believe in "last week", as I was here when it happened. I have knowledge of last week-- what use would I have for Fantasy-Delusion (faith)?

Seriously..... get help. You need it.

It really is uncanny how Pythonesque themes spring so readily to mind in discussions with creationists.

Isn't it though? It's as if the creationist was a parody of a religious human being.

I mean-- there are theists here, whom I have come to respect greatly-- and I thank them for being here, and being so very thoughtful.

That makes me pause--which is never a bad thing-- and remember that one does not need to remove one's brains, to be a Theist. Indeed: some of the cleverest humans who have been (and are) alive are theists.

But a creationist? Is kind of giving 'theism' a bad name all around.

Even worse? The god of a creationist? Is kinda stupid, really. The creationist god is inept, a bungler, has no creativity, zero originality, short-sighted, and incredibly, insufferably ... stupid.

Even worse-- if you look at the world? And if the creationist god is really responsible for everything?

That god is a beast of a monster... insidiously, maliciously ... evil beyond the pale. I have a T-shirt that sums up the creationist god:

Spam posting, where you pretend you posted something is your modus operandi . Perhaps some unwary lurker will be impressed or believe it.
Dad you know this is not true. On this site you made some claims first. I requested that you support them or admit that you have no clue. You ran away. Until you support some of your claims you have no right to complain about others not supporting theirs. I told you it you did support your claims or admit that you cannot I would support mine until you were more than satisfied.

But I am always helpful. Since you do not understand the nature of evidence here is a primer for you:

Why is there reason to believe they were the same as now? There should be some reason if science uses that premise...no?

History and the bible indicate that the past had some stark differences. If science claims something else, let's see some proof? Or do you want blind faith for your religion?
Because we can look into the distant past and see that the laws of physics were the same.

The phrase "distant past" is a big hint.

What is it with you and worms - is it the penis fencing thing you mentioned? I mean, I gotta admit that got to me too - I had this mental picture of two 270 million year old flatworms gaily waving the willies at each other in a late Paleozoic celebration of sexual exuberance and then another dull-witted flatworm pops up and declares - hey, you guys knock it off - the great bearded flatworm in the sky says that's unnatural!

Maybe, you're right after all - maybe evolution isn't all its cracked up to be - maybe we haven't evolved so much from flatworms - yet, at least. Maybe we are essentially just "flatworms in a fish bowl" struggling to come to terms with our sexual ambiguities and at the same time understand a world that we can barely see - let alone make any genuine sense of...

...and maybe your personal contributions are just what the doctor ordered - a bit of comic relief...

As observed IN the fishbowl. So we may see an object of unknown size and distance with some other object going around it. How much gravity is at work we would not know. How much time was involved there..we would not know.

No. No. No. And? No.

Preface: belief is wishing that something is "true" even if there is absolutely no reason to do so.
Belief is more like accepting something inside.

Like you accept what you just denied believing, for example.
When you have facts? You do not need belief: you have knowledge.
True. You have beliefs and religion. That is a fact. If you consider that knowledge then you are confused.

So you do believe in the TOE real real hard then and have convinced yourself that the beliefs involved in the fable are something more. OK.

Two-- I do not believe in the Big Bang Theory. I grudgenly accept that it's the best Model of the Universe we have... so far. Some day, it may be replaced-- it will certainly be refined as time goes forward.

So you accept the BB and think it is true as can be. OK. You believe in it then.

Three -- no. I have no need to believe there is a nose on my face, but I think it very likely-- I have evidence that seems to indicate there is one. I could be mistaken, but the odds of that are non-zero, but vanishingly small.
So you admit having trouble even realizing there really is a nose on your face. OK.

Four-- no. I have no need to believe in "last week", as I was here when it happened. I have knowledge of last week-- what use would I have for Fantasy-Delusion (faith)?

So you admit not believing in last week. OK.
