We've no evidence that God exists.
But we've ample proof that science is cool.

They have different purposes. Science has many different areas of study and Religions have many different purposes as well. Science can be very helpful in various areas of our physical world. Religion can be very helpful in the spiritual side of things. Scientific discoveries can help make the world a better place with certain items like medical studies and make our lives longer and healthier. Religion can give people peace of mind and give their quality of life a boost. I could go on and on.
I say I can't really can't answer the question. :)

Continues from my last post.

On other side, I can say both can be harmful in the wrong hands: Science is how the atom bomb was created (although not used, politics caused that).. Religion can influence certain people to do things to their fellow man they may not do otherwise.

Neither science and religion are good or evil. Both are tools. :)

Gods were very useful in the past, but now science is of greater benefit over all I would say. Not to say the idea of God is useless by any means.

God created all things.....so I've heard.....hehehehehe

As such science tells us how he did it....a little bit at a time.

Science objectively improves our lives, the idea of God does not work objectively because God concepts differ from person to person. Science does not.

A supernatural, all-powerful entity... going against a method by which the world can be understood...

So it's sort of like Godzilla vs. mathematics.

To me, science is the study of the gods (well, some of them anyway), so... yeah, I kind of default to saying the gods.
