So what? The ease with which a belief is held has nothing whatsoever to do with that belief's truthfulness.
At some point in the past, it was certainly
easier to believe that:
1.) The Earth was flat.
2.) The sun revolved around the earth.
3.) The stars influenced earthly events.
4.) Disease was caused by evil spirits.
5.) Witchcraft was real.
6.) Lead could be turned into gold.
7.) Etc.
Q. - Can you think of any other things that were easier to believe based on bad evidence than what was actually true?

If the foundation of your argument is that it's simply easier to believe in God, you might as well surrender your brain at the door.
