Yeah I realize that. I'm not claiming that one or the other is false due to the mismatch.RF members do not constitute a random sample.
Well, how many religious internet forums provide as welcoming an environment as RF? Perhaps that partially explains the interesting result.
Usually when statistics are compiled on non-heterosexual sex, women have more of it, mostly due to bisexuality rather than exclusive homosexuality. So far
heterosexual : non-heterosexual
- 2.48 : 1 for men
- 1.50 : 1 for women, and
- 2.11 : 1 all respondents
Usually when statistics are compiled on non-heterosexual sex, women have more of it, mostly due to bisexuality rather than exclusive homosexuality.
For example, on OkCupid, they took a sample size of about a quarter million people (which is not a perfect sample because there is selection bias, but it's interesting anyway), and found that 13% of men have had a sexual encounter with a man, but 33% of women have had a sexual encounter with a woman.
