Evidently, Larry Culliford. What makes you the authority on defining 'spirituality'?
I wish people would hear me out before they draw their conclusions. You're doing the exact same thing as fundamentalists who already make up there minds before looking at the science.
this went unanswered
can we assume its yes??
Yeah, who wants to be healthier and contribute more to society.
What are they? You're right, who doesn't?
But it'd be healthier to not overlook things for what they really are.
That is reason enough. So far I haven't heard anything about why atheists shouldn't contribute to the promotion of naturalistic spirituality besides because they don't have to.
You already made up your mind before you heard what I had to say. I'm sorry that you only value your own opinion and don't value the opinions of actual experts in psychology. You're coming across as very condescending and arrogant. I'm trying to discuss whether hardcore atheists should use their critical thinking skills in other ways to benefit society and you only care about bashing every little thing I say.

What exactly am I overlooking that isn't actually that way? Human spirituality? Our profound experiences of nature? What?
Yes our nature
I didn't say it had to be scientific pantheism. You're putting words in my mouth. When did I say we should force people to be pantheists, or even embrace naturalistic spirituality? I'm just promoting a beneficial approach to society and have provided links expanding on why it would be beneficial if cycled into culture. You don't listen to the opinions of experts on anything apparently so it just went over your head. The thing with naturalistic spiritual philosophies is that they're all based on scientific facts. The only thing not proven is the human tendency to have profound experiences of nature. Do profound experiences of nature not exist? Religious people also claim to have deep spiritual experiences, how do you explain those since you're an expert on everything. Probably "Oh, they're just a bunch of nut jobs!"
How so?
you are in fact promoting a spiritualistic lifestyle and condemming atheist lifestyle.
Atheistic lifestyle is a religion?you are in fact promoting a spiritualistic lifestyle and condemming atheist lifestyle.

its not putting word in your mouth, you have written it quite clearly.
