Should Christians celebrate Christmas

Does God mind that we mix the birth and ressurection of His son with pagan and occult practices?
I think, if love is guiding it, it is being done with God's guidance -- and I don't think he minds us sharing loving and joyful times with friends and family (and strangers,) not one little bit. :)

Watch this video on A Christmas and its pagan origins.

I want to know what "the whole Bible is true" means. (At the 40 second mark)
The man in the video (who looks a little like you) says there are "Bible facts". Can you explain what Bible facts are?
I will never be able to believe God's Word means the Bible.
Also the man keeps saying, "God wants". I am not aware that God wants. What god has wants? Can a god not have everything thus want nothing?

Want is what makes people suffer I think. Why would I be led to God who wants? Would I not be sharing in the god's wants?

Everything we read in the Bible is not true. Some of it is true and some of it is wrong. For instance Hosea 6:6 is translated thus:
I desire mercy and not sacrifice.... But the word for desire was written "delight in".
This one is right - New American Standard Bible
For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, And in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

If you knew the first thing about all abrahamic traditions you would understand eh pagan roots of all religions.

Christianity has always been highly pagan.

It was nothing but the pagan divorce of cultural Judaism by Hellenist in the Diaspora by people who did not want to follow Jewish customs any longer

The video goes on and on and on about the fact that The Lord does not change, but it appears to me the word translated change means do over or to repeat and has to do with time. I think it means that there is just one show ladies and gentleman. Let's try to get it right.

Sun worshippers focus their attention on the sky, but humankind is for the Earth. Also being in God's image, it means humans are for love.
If my focus is on the sky and the change of seasons I will miss opportunities to make the world a finer place. To worship YHVH means to make life on the Earth better for everything living. To worship false gods is to ignore LIFE.

Shunning something simply because it is Pagan strikes me as rooted in bigotry and prejudice, sad to say. A very un-Christlike attitude, that.

I don't know what the Christians in your universe are like.

Extremely diverse individuals with a wide variety of beliefs, jobs, relationships, etc? Kind of like any other heterogenous group.

Nice! In the real world, I'd bet if you did the research you'd find the vast majority scared off by pagan ideology, even the word pagan. It's not even religious, it's culturally ingrained at this point.

Personally, I've faced little to no hostility for being a contemporary Pagan. When people find out about it, they're mostly just curious. I can't say I've ever been scathed by judgmental rhetoric by anyone in-person. Even if I expand to online experiences, I've only had that happen... gosh... I can probably count the incidents on one hand? It's why things like this seem weird to me. I always ask "gee... where is this hostility coming from?"

They say the truth is God hates Christmas.
They say the Bible is the truth.

The Bible says of truth and God's Word
that it is;
Jesus John 14:6
It can set a person free John 8:32
That it is not in some people (even someone who knows the Bible) John 8:44
It can communicate John 16:13
It can sanctify John 17:17
It is alive Hebrews 4:12

People wrote the Bible and translated it and chose which scripture should be in it and which should not.

Think of that and then ask yourself if all those things (and much more) that are attributed to God's Word can be accomplished by any person.

That's pretty lucky, you should be thankful for your unique experience.

I don't think it's luck at all. The overwhelming majority of people aren't $#@%s. Just like the overwhelming majority of Christians in my country clearly have no problem celebrating Christmas without fussing about whether or not their traditions have "Pagan" elements. The copious lawn displays and sales of decorations are a testimony to that.
