Should Muslims acknowledge the Jews sovereignty over Israel?

The primary "goodness" that we believe is found in Jesus is forgiveness in the eyes God and a restored relationship with him. Jesus also says that murders and robbers will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, regardless of who they claim to follow. I'd agree that throughout Christians have been a "mixed bag" in how they've represented JC. Their job, in their eyes, has been to help usher in the Kingdom. When they fail to do that some people obviously question the existence of the God they claim to believe in. Jews familiar with the Hebrew Bible should not find it strange however that God uses sinners to change the world. The OT is replete with leaders of the Israelite nation who were shall we say "less than perfect." What do you say about the God that used a man like Samson to lead his people?

Paul said something about true Christians having signs and spiritual gifts...including...Prophecy. And powers like being able to speak in tongues that they never learned. In fact, he said that every Christian, or member of "The Church" (the real, true Scotsman Church) would have such a gift. When was the last time we had a Christian prophet? Where did Paul imply it would only be a temporary phenomenon?

The spread of the Church according to Acts was not done so much through arguments, but by display of miraculous abilities and powers SUPPLEMENTED by arguments to rationalize that it was godly, not demonic forces at play.

And thus we are left with Pentacostals and various "Charismatic" cults that try their best to imitate these powers which are the signs of the blessings of the true church. At what point were all Christians no longer given the sign of miraculous abilities to demonstrate their proof of having a true "relationship" with the Son?

The Covenant covered in Torah only deals with those who are circumcised, which is the mark of the Covenant done on the 8th day after birth for boys only.

Now, whether God has a covenant with any others is quite hypothetically possible at least.

If circumcision is a covenant of God, you can outline the benefits of being marked. Do so.

But in any observable benefit that you list, there is a more efficient covenant to subscribe to. Unfortunately for Abraham's sons, they've been enslaved to a discipline they've hated to understand, but loved to have hope in.

The rooster doesn't raise the sun. But, you believe a sign in your flesh can fulfill promises which aren't being kept. And so, you have brothers and sisters who will die according to your belief. Many are dying. And many have died. They all worked to inherit God's land, and as a result of ill perception are no longer able to inherit any of the promises given to Abraham.

Refer to your prophets, Jeremiah and Isaiah.

So you're saying that when God gave the mark of the covenant to Abraham and all his offspring, he was either lying or he'd have some direct, observable benefit that Jews throughout history wouldn't be able to show? What was the outline of the Israelites in prior times?

But in any observable benefit that you list, there is a more efficient covenant to subscribe to. Unfortunately for Abraham's sons, they've been enslaved to a discipline they've hated to understand, but loved to have hope in.

What discipline have they been "enslaved" to exactly? The Torah?

The rooster doesn't raise the sun. But, you believe a sign in your flesh can fulfill promises which aren't being kept.

What promise isn't being kept? Israel back in 1000-0 A.D. was just as tulmutuous and unstable as it was today if not more so.

And so, you have brothers and sisters who will die according to your belief.

Most Jews in Israel have very little regard for the religious aspect of Zionism.

Many are dying. And many have died. They all worked to inherit God's land, and as a result of ill perception are no longer able to inherit any of the promises given to Abraham.

What promises are those exactly?

Refer to your prophets, Jeremiah and Isaiah.

Have you even read them? They are lamenting the fact that the Jews have gone astray from the Law and that is the reason for their punishments. As well as pointing out the punishments coming up for the evil Nations opposing them.

Paul never said outright nor implied that these gifts were only a temporary phenomenon. Jesus COMMANDED his followers to heal the sick, drive out demons, etc. As to the claim that Christians no longer have such gifts I don't believe that it has any validity. I do believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I feel like I've witnessed and even experienced them personally, among them one in particular that can I can only describe as miraculous especially after modern medicine gave its best shot at healing the particular ailment and failed miserably. There are places where people are getting delivered from all types of physical/mental ailments including powerful addictions. I've seen many many people speak in tongues but never done so myself. I've felt like God has spoken to me personally at times giving me a word for someone that I could never have reasonably guessed. I've had people give me what they felt was a word from God that they could never have known applied. Maybe some or all are just making it up. It certainly is possible. I believe modern secular thinking, among them "rationalism" and the worship of science has made many western Christians more skeptical about the existence of such things and hence more apprehensive about trying to practice them.

Jesus Himself prophesied that some would perform equal to, and greater than Him. Paul reiterated.

By your own logic, why aren't you 1% as concerned about people acting centuries in the past in your own backyard?

What is Israel supposed to do to become a 21st century civilization? Give up and surrender to people who live in the mentality of the 7th century without any regard for the historical context of the struggle?

You have yet to indicate a remote familiarity with the actual causes of the wars and the transfer of control of the land, your knowledge of the situation seems to be limited to slogans and a few pieces of rhetoric without any regard for the geopolitical realities.

Okay, and? So when do we see these Christians who do greater acts? Paul said EVERY Christian would have spiritual gifts. That means if you don't have a Spiritual gift.....

Oh, so Christians are supposed to have Supernatural abilities to prove that they're real Christians? What is this, some kind of Biblical fundamentalism or something?

As to the claim that Christians no longer have such gifts I don't believe that it has any validity.

Then you should have no problem proving a single verified example. And also, don't forget that miraculous powers are also claimable by those who don't know Jesus at all.

I do believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

I also believe many Christians claim to have this gift, yet disagree with each other over many issues, apparently either the Spirit is lying to them, or they may be speaking falsely about the Spirit. For some reason I get can extremely aggravated when Christians claim to have the Spirit as a last resort to when their beliefs are questioned. Especially when they conflict with what other claimants believe the Spirit tells them.

I feel like I've witnessed and even experienced them personally, among them one in particular that can I can only describe as miraculous especially after modern medicine gave its best shot at healing the particular ailment and failed miserably.

I've seen examples of Muslims who have had seemingly miraculous healings too. Same with Hindus.

There are places where people are getting delivered from all types of physical/mental ailments including powerful addictions.

I'm sure there are. And they exist all over the world in non-Christian areas too. How do you account for that?

I've seen many many people speak in tongues but never done so myself.

Oh really? Are we talking actual languages on Earth like the examples in the Book of Acts or some unknown Angel language?

I've felt like God has spoken to me personally at times giving me a word for someone that I could never have reasonably guessed
.

I'd have to know a specific example.

I've had people give me what they felt was a word from God that they could never have known applied.

Like?

Maybe some or all are just making it up.

Maybe? More like Likely.

It certainly is possible. I believe modern secular thinking, among them "rationalism" and the worship of science has made many western Christians more skeptical about the existence of such things and hence more apprehensive about trying to practice them.

Or maybe they're just more honest and less willing to lie and pretend because they have a bit more desire for respect and being trusted?

What significant changes in Christian theology to you believe came about in around 300 AD? And by "significant" I mean doctrines that would be considered "heretical" by Jesus and the disciples.
I believe that it is important for people to know their own history.
Personally, as an "ultra" Orthodox Jew, I believe that American Christianity is one of the best friends that Jews and the State of Israel could possibly have so, I have no beef with modern Christians.
However, as you seem to be unaware of the underpinnings of Christianity, it is only for the sake of historical accuracy that I offer the following -

From the earliest days of the Constantine and the Christian Roman Empire, Christians learned about the Jews in the context of how their god, Jesus, was killed by wicked Jews.
After Rome adopted Christianity, Jews became synonymous with Christ-killers. Jews were proclaimed The Race of Deicides.

It began with Book of Matthew 27:20:
"And the whole people answering said: ‘His blood be upon us and our children.’”
The Book of John puts the proverbial nails in the crucifixion of the Jews when John relates the various "evils" that “the Jews” performed:
“… therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus because he did these things on the Sabbath.” (John 5:16)
“… The Jews then took up stones to stone him…” (John 10:31)
“We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” (John 10:33)
“The Jews insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.’” (John 19:7)
“’Here is your king,’ Pilate said to the Jews.
But they shouted, ‘Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!’” (John 19:14,15)

The early Christian theologians; the Church Fathers, believed that these passages specifically meant that the Jews first rejected, and then killed Jesus. And, that the Jews were therefore cursed by the Christian god for all time.
Origen, one of the most distinguished writers of the early Christian Church, wrote: “The Jews nailed Christ to the Cross.”
Cyprian, bishop of Carthage, took time to detail the crimes of the Jews in his “Three Books of Testimonies Against the Jews.”
Augustine argued that Jews should be left alive and suffering as “a perpetual reminder of their murder of Christ.”
Gregory of Nyssa named the Jews “Slayers of the Lord, murderers of the prophets, adversaries of G-d, haters of G-d … advocates of the devil, brood of vipers, slanderers… assemblies of demon… and haters of righteousness.”
John Chrysostom (347 CE-407 CE), flatly stated (contradicting Peter who claimed the Jews acted without knowledge) “the Jews erred, not ignorantly, but with full knowledge.”
Chrysostom’s virulent hatred of the Jews, as the Archbishop of Constantinople, along with these other Church Fathers, forever influenced the theology that became Law under the Eastern Orthodox Empire, and he, like the rest of these early Church Fathers, became a “saint.”
Among his many sermons castigating, excoriating, and cursing the Jews, he called them “the assassins of Christ” and named their synagogues “the refuge of devils and abyss of perdition.”

Ultimately, the “Holy Roman Emperor,” Constantine, began what became a perpetual theological condemnation of Jews and Judaism in his Laws of Constantinus Regarding the Jews

I. Laws of Constantine the Great, October 18, 315: Concerning Jews, Heaven-Worshippers, And Samaritans We wish to make it known to the Jews and their elders and their patriarchs that if, after the enactment of this law, any one of them dares to attack with stones or some other manifestation of anger another who has fled their dangerous sect and attached himself to the worship of God [Christianity], he must speedily be given to the flames and burn together with all his accomplices. Moreover, if any one of the population should join their abominable sect and attend their meetings, he will bear with them the deserved penalties.

The Holy Roman Emperors, Theodosius II and Justinian, continued making specific Laws restricting and condemning Jews and Judaism, as did nearly every Holy Roman Emperor and later, Popes, that followed in the footsteps of these Christian “saints” who urged that Jews be scourged and hated for killing their god.

These Laws became but the first in a never ending series of Laws enacted by Christendom throughout the entire planet for the next 1500 years. These Laws enjoyed the full Ecclesiastical weight of the Holy Church and were totally enforced by the civil administrations of the various Christian Kingdoms as “civil law,” and Christian doctrine.

This theology was passed on to all of Christendom well into the 20th Century.
All Christians “knew” that Jews were “cursed” by G-d and it was the theological duty of greater Christendom to see that they suffered.
And, greater Christendom did exactly that.

The first recorded mob violence that I know of was in 388 CE when Christians burnt down a synagogue in Syria.
From the 5th Century onward - Jews were regularly killed; forced to convert; their synagogues and homes burned and looted; forced to pay a “dhimmi tax” to Christians in order to both practice Judaism and/or simply not be killed; prohibited from certain occupations; not allowed to marry Christians; their books burned; expelled from various Christian kingdoms; and simply persecuted unceasingly by Christians for the crime of being Jewish.

At any time, in any country, for any reason, Jews could be and were ruthlessly sought out for torture and death.
Millions of Jews died at the hands of Christians over the last 1500 years for the supposed theological crime of being Christ Killers.
With the conclusion of the Holocaust in the 20th Century, most of Christianity officially changed their theology and no longer claimed that the Jews killed their god.

However, in response to your question - this theology of the people of Jesus being a Race of Deicides and killing Jesus, a god, would be considered just a leetle bit heretical by Jesus and his followers.... No?

(And, FYI for everyone - The reason American Christianity has taken over the world and that Christianity has now changed its theology regarding the Jews, is that American Christianity replaced "Replacement Theology" with "Fulfillment Theology." Good things come from the US of A!)

Shermana: You don't have to take my word for anything and I know you certainly won't. As far as proving the existence of spiritual giftings my recommendation is that you find yourself a church that actively tries to practice the spiritual gifts. Just go in a as a skeptic wanting to observe all the wacky Christians trying to put Jesus' command to perform miracles into practice. Many are dying. And many have died. They all worked to inherit God's land, and as a result of ill perception are no longer able to inherit any of the promises given to Abraham.

Refer to your prophets, Jeremiah and Isaiah.

My comments were exclusively in regards to what Torah says, which is rather easy to look up, but if someone doesn't believe in Torah, then obviously they'll likely have a different conclusion.

But for those who believe in Torah, let me post this:

Exod.2

[24] And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Exod.6

[4] I also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they dwelt as sojourners.
[5] Moreover I have heard the groaning of the people of Israel whom the Egyptians hold in bondage and I have remembered my covenant.
Exod.19

[5] Now therefore, if you will obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my own possession among all peoples; for all the earth is mine,
Exod.23

[32] You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods.
Exod.24

[7] Then he took the book of the covenant, and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, "All that the LORD has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient."
[8] And Moses took the blood and threw it upon the people, and said, "Behold the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words."
Exod.31

[16] Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the sabbath, observing the sabbath throughout their generations, as a perpetual covenant.
Exod.34

[10] And he said, "Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth or in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the LORD; for it is a terrible thing that I will do with you.
[12] Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither you go, lest it become a snare in the midst of you.
[15] lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and when they play the harlot after their gods and sacrifice to their gods and one invites you, you eat of his sacrifice,
[27] And the LORD said to Moses, "Write these words; in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."
[28] And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Lev.2

[13] You shall season all your cereal offerings with salt; you shall not let the salt of the covenant with your God be lacking from your cereal offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.
Lev.24

[8] Every sabbath day Aaron shall set it in order before the LORD continually on behalf of the people of Israel as a covenant for ever.
Lev.26

[9] And I will have regard for you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and will confirm my covenant with you.
[15] if you spurn my statutes, and if your soul abhors my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant,
[25] And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute vengeance for the covenant; and if you gather within your cities I will send pestilence among you, and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
[42] then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.
[44] Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not spurn them, neither will I abhor them so as to destroy them utterly and break my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God;
[45] but I will for their sake remember the covenant with their forefathers, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the LORD."
Num.10

[33] So they set out from the mount of the LORD three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them three days' journey, to seek out a resting place for them.
Num.14

[44] But they presumed to go up to the heights of the hill country, although neither the ark of the covenant of the LORD, nor Moses, departed out of the camp.
Num.18

[19] All the holy offerings which the people of Israel present to the LORD I give to you, and to your sons and daughters with you, as a perpetual due; it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD for you and for your offspring with you."
Num.25

[12] Therefore say, `Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace;
[13] and it shall be to him, and to his descendants after him, the covenant of a perpetual priesthood, because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the people of Israel.'"
Deut.4

[13] And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
[23] Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make a graven image in the form of anything which the LORD your God has forbidden you.
[31] for the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not fail you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers which he swore to them.
Deut.5

[2] The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
[3] Not with our fathers did the LORD make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here alive this day.
Deut.7

[2] and when the LORD your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them; then you must utterly destroy them; you shall make no covenant with them, and show no mercy to them.
[9] Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,
[12] "And because you hearken to these ordinances, and keep and do them, the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the steadfast love which he swore to your fathers to keep;
Deut.8

[18] You shall remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may confirm his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day.
Deut.9

[9] When I went up the mountain to receive the tables of stone, the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, I remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water.
[11] And at the end of forty days and forty nights the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, the tables of the covenant.
[15] So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire; and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands.
Deut.10

[8] At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister to him and to bless in his name, to this day.
Deut.17

[2] "If there is found among you, within any of your towns which the LORD your God gives you, a man or woman who does what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, in transgressing his covenant,
Deut.29

[1] These are the words of the covenant which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the people of Israel in the land of Moab, besides the covenant which he had made with them at Horeb.
[9] Therefore be careful to do the words of this covenant, that you may prosper in all that you do.
[12] that you may enter into the sworn covenant of the LORD your God, which the LORD your God makes with you this day;
[14] Nor is it with you only that I make this sworn covenant,
[19] one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, `I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.' This would lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike.
[21] And the LORD would single him out from all the tribes of Israel for calamity, in accordance with all the curses of the covenant written in this book of the law.
[25] Then men would say, `It is because they forsook the covenant of the LORD, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,
Deut.31

[9] And Moses wrote this law, and gave it to the priests the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel.
[16] And the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, you are about to sleep with your fathers; then this people will rise and play the harlot after the strange gods of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake me and break my covenant which I have made with them.
[20] For when I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to give to their fathers, and they have eaten and are full and grown fat, they will turn to other gods and serve them, and despise me and break my covenant.
[25] Moses commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD,
[26] "Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you.
Deut.33

[9] who said of his father and mother,
`I regard them not';
he disowned his brothers,
and ignored his children.
For they observed thy word,
and kept thy covenant.

So you make a big deal about this claim that Jews have no proof of having a direct covenant, yet you think Christians have this proof based on something you can't verify whatsoever and is based on the shoddiest and shakiest claims of personal testimony.

Find a church that ties to practice them? You mean like Charismatic Pentacostal churches? Why am I supposed to believe they are authentic? Have you accepted the possibility that no matter how hard they try that they are lying and fibbing?

What if Jews have this testimony too? How do you know that I do not try to listen to the Spirit? How do you know the Spirit is not already in direct communication with me? Why is it only through people who share your particular Theology?

Josh.3
[3] and commanded the people, "When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God being carried by the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from your place and follow it,
[6] And Joshua said to the priests, "Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass on before the people." And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
[8] And you shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, `When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.'"
[11] Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is to pass over before you into the Jordan.
[14] So, when the people set out from their tents, to pass over the Jordan with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,
[17] And while all Israel were passing over on dry ground, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan, until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan.
Josh.4

[7] Then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial for ever."
[9] And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the covenant had stood; and they are there to this day.
[18] And when the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of the LORD came up from the midst of the Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up on dry ground, the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and overflowed all its banks, as before.
Josh.6

[6] So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, "Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD."
[8] And as Joshua had commanded the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns before the LORD went forward, blowing the trumpets, with the ark of the covenant of the LORD following them.
Josh.7

[11] Israel has sinned; they have transgressed my covenant which I commanded them; they have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, and lied, and put them among their own stuff.
[15] And he who is taken with the devoted things shall be burned with fire, he and all that he has, because he has transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he has done a shameful thing in Israel.'"
Josh.8

[33] And all Israel, sojourner as well as homeborn, with their elders and officers and their judges, stood on opposite sides of the ark before the Levitical priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, half of them in front of Mount Ger'izim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded at the first, that they should bless the people of Israel.
Josh.9

[6] And they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal, and said to him and to the men of Israel, "We have come from a far country; so now make a covenant with us."
[7] But the men of Israel said to the Hivites, "Perhaps you live among us; then how can we make a covenant with you?"
[11] And our elders and all the inhabitants of our country said to us, `Take provisions in your hand for the journey, and go to meet them, and say to them, "We are your servants; come now, make a covenant with us."'

Josh.9

[15] And Joshua made peace with them, and made a covenant with them, to let them live; and the leaders of the congregation swore to them.
[16] At the end of three days after they had made a covenant with them, they heard that they were their neighbors, and that they dwelt among them.
Josh.23

[16] if you transgress the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them. Then the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you."
Josh.24

[25] So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and made statutes and ordinances for them at Shechem.
Judg.2

[1] Now the angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, "I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you into the land which I swore to give to your fathers. I said, `I will never break my covenant with you,

Jer.33

[20] "Thus says the LORD: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time,

[13] "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: I made a covenant with your fathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,
[15] You recently repented and did what was right in my eyes by proclaiming liberty, each to his neighbor, and you made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name;

[59] "Yea, thus says the Lord GOD: I will deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant,
[60] yet I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant.
[61] Then you will remember your ways, and be ashamed when I take your sisters, both your elder and your younger, and give them to you as daughters, but not on account of the covenant with you.
[62] I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall know that I am the LORD,
Ezek.17

[13] And he took one of the seed royal and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. (The chief men of the land he had taken away,
[14] that the kingdom might be humble and not lift itself up, and that by keeping his covenant it might stand.)
[15] But he rebelled against him by sending ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and a large army. Will he succeed? Can a man escape who does such things? Can he break the covenant and yet escape?
[16] As I live, says the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die.

[5] My covenant with him was a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him, that he might fear; and he feared me, he stood in awe of my name.
[8] But you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by your instruction; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts,
[10] Have we not all one father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we faithless to one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers?
[14] You ask, "Why does he not?" Because the LORD was witness to the covenant between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.

So you make a big deal about this claim that Jews have no proof of having a direct covenant, yet you think Christians have this proof based on something you can't verify whatsoever and is based on the shoddiest and shakiest claims of personal testimony.

Should these claims really be surprising? Are they not what the OT prophesizes? How else is the news supposed to get around unless people who have experienced it tell others?

Joel 2

28"And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days."

Please don't confuse the giving of God's Spirit with the Covenant as they're not really the same. As Jews, we don't believe that God came and provided guidance just to us.

The Covenant covered in Torah only deals with those who are circumcised, which is the mark of the Covenant done on the 8th day after birth for boys only.

Now, whether God has a covenant with any others is quite hypothetically possible at least.

What about the women?
