Any person is free to divorce his/her spouse if s/he does a valid reason . Then s/he can start a new life with anybody s/he wants , whether to support a destitute or needy .

I have to agree with you as the verse was about orphans and not about sex, so the only meaning for this verse that men were allowed to marry another woman only for the sake of serving the Orphans and if in case they can't then hiring woman (maid) to take care of them, so those whom men posses by money was for helping and serving the orphans and not for sex, i think then that some atheists of that time distorted even the actual meaning of some verses by inventing false ahadith.

women weren't made to be a mans '2nd' or '3rd' or ..... no man is worth that. I dont think men really understand how women think in regard to the relationship they 'want' to have with a man. It allow them to have more children. And with more children, there would be more Muslims. Also with each polygamous families, there would be more mouths to feed.

From a genetic reproductive standpoint (you know: the one where "advantage" is defined has having offspring with the most desired characteristics and highest probability of reproduction), it advantages women (except for the one at the top of the food chain).

Imagine that there are six people in the world. Three men and three women. Each falls into a category: "A" has the most desirable genes, "B" the second most, and "C" the third most.

Ignoring the chaos of mate selection: in a monogamous society the two A's would pair, the two B's would pair and the two C's would pair. So looking at the children:

Woman A has children with AA genes (one A from mom and one from dad)
Woman B has children with BB genes.
Woman C has children with CC genes.

The same is obviously true for the men.
