In my experience it usually involves a lot more vodka and shame.

I was 14 and didn't have a clue.

Oh right in the UK we are taught this at school aged 10-11
This I found out a bit before then like 8-9 or something.
That doesn't even make sense under a system of sexism that targets women not men.
Actually I have seen a lot of women who will make generalisations about men being sex obsessed, sexist and womanizers. They claim to be feminist but in reality they come across as man haters.
Poor men
The post was aimed at me
I feel bad for a lot of the men I know sometimes, they get lumped in with the jerks.
Oh I see. :/
I feel bad for a lot of women sometimes they are are at higher risk of being victims of sexual violence.

I am glad you posted this.
I have posted much the same idea a few times in other threads, and the result is that I was flamed and treated as a misogynist.
You won't get such harsh treatment for saying it, because you are a woman.

Does it have to be a case of man vs woman? That is why I do not think of myself as a feminist anymore, I guess I am more of a humanist.
I wasn't making a case for man vs woman, I was making a case for one is systematic and one isn't, how does it really effect a mans life that some individual women thinks he is a jerk really?
Cry me a river
What you are saying is that quantity trumps quality.
That if it happens to more women than men, then the men should suck it up because the women's suffering is more significant ?
Is that really humanist ? Or reasonable ?
I don't think so.
When men are victimised by sexist women, they may be in a statistical minority, but does that mean that the principle is irrelevant ? Does that mean that the behavior is not the same ?
Are you telling me that sexist women should never be called to account because they are a minority ?
For real ?

I'm saying it's just distracting from the real issues of sexism, "oh but women can be sexist too" great, a couple of women sitting round a tea pot talking about what jerks men can be is not something I'm going to loose sleep over or even feel sorry for men about.
