There are other studies, and there is always going to be a lag between when a new variant emerges and when studies about that variant are published.
It is true that vaccines reduce COVID transmission. Exactly how much they reduce it and how long the effect lasts will vary by the vaccine and the variant.
In the early days of COVID vaccines, the first round of studies focused only on the effectiveness of the vaccines at reducing symptoms, not at their effect on disease transmission. Even though it was very likely that the vaccines would reduce transmission, health authorities were careful not to make statements that couldn't be backed up by research, so a lot of that early messaging around the vaccines included statements about how we weren't sure whether the vaccines would reduce transmission.
Now the studies have been done, so now we can say what those studies all show: COVID vaccines reduce transmission of COVID.

Again, it reduces transmission, which overall has that effect. However, on the personal level it doesn't stop symptoms by themselves but generally reduces them.

Scientists who know what they're doing know that you publish your work in scientific journals, for peer review and evaluation. The ones who post on Twitter are quacks (Scoops McGoo, for example).

Yeah .. went part of the way and it took me to the freedom of information act site for New Zealand .. which is not ideal .. but I am not that surprised by the numbers .. especially recent numbers with most people in being either unvaxed or been over a year since vaxed crowd. .. these folks showing up as vaxed but we know what little effectiveness the vax does have .. is mostly gone after 2 months .. nevermind a year.

The numbers seem reasonable .. no reason to doubt they were from the New Zealand Gov't numbers. The majority these days are either unvaxxed or have been ~ a year since vax. So the stuff not doing anything but these folks showing up in the hospital as vaxed.
