Suppression of Free Speech on Covid

It appears that I'm better at reading reports.
I also have an unfair advantage, ie, consulting
with Mrs Revolt, who has an MPH from Johns
Hopkins, & has worked in public health for
40+ years. I'm just an engineer....although
I did design surgical tools once.
You would think that an engineer would have have eyes that were good enough to pick out which lines indicate higher mortality on a graph.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Yes, it can make a difference because air flow between people can be variable.
So it's better for myself for me to wear a mask, correctly? The right sort of mask, worn correctly (for instance, covering my nose and mouth).

Obviously. that's a personal choice. I'm not wearing mine at this time because the covid rate is low where I live, and most people have either had covid already or been vaxed or both.

I'm not wearing one either, and haven't for probably months. I was just told that it was selfish of me not to wear one so I was wondering if it was more beneficial for me or for others for me to wear one.

???

We haven't been wearing masks in Britain since 2021.

Odd is that your expertise is so advanced
that you know better then epidemiologists.
They have an interest in keeping their jobs. For N.Z. state funded epidemiologists, the official mantra has not changed:

"We remind people that vaccines remain safe and effective and that they should keep up to date with their shots to protect themselves, whanau and their communities."

And you claim to know better than them all.
More than all at Johns Hopkins, the Mayo
Clinic, the CDC, etc.
It's beyond the scope of this thread for
me to investigate your errors in reading
vaccination & morbidity statistics.
I recall posting explanations, but the
anti-vaxers never read them.

Coronavirus is long gone, the vaccines have been used, we no longer have mandates, no longer offering boosters, Europe is normal now. Covid is old news.
Not really as some are still dying from it, mostly the elderly. However, it is very significantly down from 2020-2022.

I would not suggest this is any different from other respiratory diseases killing older and vulnerable people. I believe it ought be treated as such.

At this point I agree. However, the covid virus has shown a significant propensity to mutate, so we may not be 100% out of the woods. Some virologists believe that we may have to have annual covid vaccinations much like we have annual flu vaccinations.

So are you still wearing a mask?
No. I live in an area where most are vaccinated and we're all pretty much back to normal now.

I would probably wear a mask if I contracted COVID and had to go out somewhere. I do see a few others wearing masks from time to time and I imagine it's because they're sick with something or they're vulnerable to catching something. For instance, we had a get-together for my cousin who has brain cancer and we all masked up so as not to pass anything onto her as her immune system is already weakened and we didn't want to risk her contracting anything from us.

The only person I actually knew who died of COVID had received five COVID vaccinations, the last one being in November (she died two months later). Just sayin'. She had no idea where she caught it. And I don't believe it was even the Omicron variant.

Did your cousin with the brain cancer wear a mask?

“The long train of abuses committed by the government and public health establishment in response to COVID-19 will continue to impact the American people for years to come.

Millions of Americans were forced to take a COVID-19 shot out of fear of losing their livelihoods and under false pretenses. Many have faced injury from the vaccine, but few have been afforded little recourse. To date, a mere 11 injury claims have been paid out despite nearly 700 million doses of the vaccine having been administered.

I am introducing the LIABLE Act to empower Americans to remove crony federal liability protections for COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers and empower injured Americans. The American people deserve justice for the infringement on their personal medical freedom and those medically harmed deserve restitution.”
