" even though you did not agree to such a procedure"
There is always that known possibility when one has sex. If they choose to have sex they are knowingly agreeing that possibility may happen.
Like joining the military. No one joins to die are be maimed but that's a known possibility. If they choose to join they are knowingly agreeing that possibility may happen.
Yes, it is a possibility. That does not mean that someone agreed to getting pregnant. When I walk down the streets at night there is a possibility that someone could try to rob me. Does that mean that I agreed to it?
Just because something can happen due to an activity does not mean that somebody agreed for that to happen. Pregnancy is possible even when one uses contraceptive measures. They are not always perfect. Sex is going to happen. It is not up to you or me to tell others that they cannot have sex. Nor can we tell people that they have to go through a pregnancy if it happens. You lose that debate if you try to enter into it.
Now I am not totally set on unlimited abortions. I can see limiting them after viability. Even though a fetus is arguably still not a person at that time it is getting too close to me personally. But even though a fetus can look very human it does lack the spark that a person has. And most abortions occur before the fetal stage.
Of course from a Christian perspective the Bible is more prochoice than prolife. The one verse that some Christians quote that they think supports them best has a changed translation. Exodus 22 21 use to say that the result of the man accidentally striking a woman was a miscarriage. If you have a pre Roe v Wade Bible you can read it and see for yourself. I even found a source that quoted one translation's two different versions. Then there is a test of an unfaithful wife in Numbers where a chemical abortion is performed in a temple. The only prolife verses are the ones that are extremely poetic in nature. Those are contradicted by the verses that imply an embryo or fetus is not a person.
