For those who say that ISIS is simply retaliating: what do all the beheaded Syrian Christians do for ISIS to behead them? Also, why did ISIS crucify all those Christian children? It is sad to see how Europe is completely unable to understand that this sort of terrorist attacks are 100% linked to an ideology that teaches warfare against non-Muslims. No ones claiming that ISIS are in any way the good guys in this scenario, they are not, in fact they seem to be about as evil as they can be if we can believe the media reports. Just pointing out that France has been at war with ISIS, and attacking ISIS, and ISIS are bad guys, they fight back, just don't act so surprised when they do, it is war after all. And while ISIS might, Islam in general is not an ideology that preaches Jihad or war against non Muslims.

Islam has over a billion adherents. Anyone who mistakes what some are doing in its name with the rule are either unpardonably ignorant or essentially dishonest. The problem where Islam has radicalized is similar to the problem of Nazi Germany early on...there are a lot of people who are afraid to speak out against violent neighbors, or who see the enemies of radical Islam as being their own ideological enemies to some extent or at least those against whom they share a common complaint. It makes for a muddled picture. Islam has spoken out, even so, and loudly, against the sort of horror and cowardice that we saw here with 9/11 and the like and will, I'm sure, speak against this latest atrocity.
