No one said displays are not open to all.Wrong again. Your religious symbols will be different from those of other religions. If a display is not open to all it has to be closed to all. Not allowing those on your side to break the law is not supporting atheists.
Don't make false accusations about the logic of others when you can't seem to reason properly yourself.
That they are not appear to be that way from context. If they are open to all people tend to make sure that is well known. No one said displays are not open to all.
I can understand why this is confusing for you.You better read the dictionary on what establishment means.
Given the sheer amoumt of precedence, it seems silly to start rattling off cases.I wish the answers weren't so vague.
The law specifically targets the Ten Commandments. No one said displays are not open to all.
That is what Oklahoma city said until the Satanic Temple erected a statue to Baphomet on the Capitol lawn. Then they took religious statues down real quick. No one said displays are not open to all.
I have asked a form of this question too. No one has answered yet.Which Ten Commandments are we talking about?
Maybe you are confused if you do not know what establishment means.I can understand why this is confusing for you.
Nothing is targeted. The law ALLOWS the Ten Commandments. The law specifically targets the Ten Commandments.
Does it allow any other religions to post their commandments,Nothing is targeted. The law ALLOWS the Ten Commandments.
And only the Ten Commandments, it is unconstitutional as written.Nothing is targeted. The law ALLOWS the Ten Commandments.
The problem is that you do not understand what the term "establishment clause" means and now you are trying to perform an equivocation fallacy.Maybe you are confused if you do not know what establishment means.
Actually I would be very happy to hear what it means to say the government shall not establish religion but also shall not deny the right of citizens to practice religion. Perhaps you would be so kind as to educate myself and others. The problem is that you do not understand what the term "establishment clause" means and now you are trying to perform an equivocation fallacy.
Are you trying to misunderstand? The law is specifically aimed at allowing the Ten Commandments in schools.Nothing is targeted. The law ALLOWS the Ten Commandments.
I understand well what it means and how it is applied in the context of constitutional law. The discussion requires critical thought.Maybe you are confused if you do not know what establishment means.
Where are they denying people the right to practice religion?Actually I would be very happy to hear what it means to say the government shall not establish religion but also shall not deny the right of citizens to practice religion. Perhaps you would be so kind as to educate myself and others.
You did not answer the question so I guess the discussion is over. Better luck next time.Where are they denying people the right to practice religion?
