Bastet, there are
Glucose Tablets that you can find at just about every pharmacy. They are not prescription. They kind of taste like SweetTarts. They are processed glucose so as to enter your blood stream faster than any food or candy you may use. I've dealt with hypoglycemia off and on since I was a teenager. These work well if you lack anything else you can do. Also, if you like fruit, eating an apple or orange as a snack is a great way to keep your blood sugar regulated between meals. The tablets are for use when you can actually FEEL your level dropping. Best to eat a couple once you start getting the telltale headache or dizziness before it gets too bad.
And on another note...the "cupcakes" thing...I don't quite get it. Except for one time where I messed up the tenth time I don't have much problem with it. I just tried again and made it to 34 before having a slip of the tongue. But then, that may be because I can talk really fast anyway, even won over $300 on a radio contest for that ability to repeat something many times in a row.
I'm a dork
