The Creationist's Argument and its Greatest Weakness

Hindu and other claims reflect the divine reality, in terms of even the pantheon of Hindu gods has one supreme being over all other lesser powers.

I'm skeptical of Hindu claims of reincarnation, as I've discussed here on recent threads.
Ah, so you're not much better than all these nasty skeptics you're always going on about in these forums. Right? ;)

I'm glad you are not an apatheist and unsure about your atheist faith.
I don't have any "atheist faith." I have a lack of belief in god(s) pending good evidence and good reasons to believe. Same goes for my belief in fairies. Would you say I have faith that fairies don't exist?

No, but there's something wrong in behaving like an embittered skeptic, de facto, comes with the territory of trolling on a religious forum. Let me help you:

1) There is no god.

2) You are SURE.

3) Feel free to leave the forum and live your life.
What exactly is an "embittered skeptic?"

Which "embittered atheists" have expressed any one of your points?

1) There is no god.
Finally, you got something right.

2) You are certain.
Wow! Two for two.

3) You define self-flagellation, therefore, by remaining here.
Actually it was you, not I, that was whining:
Putting up patiently with skeptics. That's what I sacrifice daily.
4) I release you from your chain, feel free to leave the forum, and live your life!
That's funny.

You DO have faith--that most people are delusional. Shame.

I have and I am.

Perhaps you are confusing atheists with agnostics.
Well, I am an atheist agnostic. So there's that.

I guess I got my answer though. You're the one saying there is no god and you're sure. It wasn't me, so I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. So thanks.

De facto, an atheist who spends time on religious forums is bitter, cruel, a troll. Sorry, but that's my understanding.
LOL Okay. That's quite a judgment. Perhaps you could point out where and how I've been bitter and cruel. I've never actually been called that before in my entire life. So, I'm curious.

And I wonder what that makes you? Hmmmm

I'm neither bitter, cruel, nor a troll. But if I, and others like me, weren't here, who would you talk to? If you just wanted to be in discussions with people who agree with you I'm sure there are forums that do not allow atheists. If nothing else, you could just limit your discussions to the folks at your bible studies.

What's an atheist agnostic?
Agnostic atheism is a philosophical position that encompasses both atheism and agnosticism. Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in principle or currently unknown in fact.

Yep, that's me.
Cool. I don't feel right making such a claim. But that's just me.

I disagree. An atheist can still be interested or concerned about the role religious belief plays in society. Not all debate has to be about the beliefs themselves.

In fact, one of the things I like about RF is the quality of the *science* discussion.

OK. But what's an atheist agnostic?:smirk:

Cool. I don't feel right making such a claim. But that's just me.

Are you also agnostic about Minnie Mouse or psychic snowflakes? Do you consider that the actual existence of these creations of man's imaginings is unknowable?

I wouldn't say that necessarily. I simply think they are mistaken.

But again, no faith required for that. Despite your attempt to put words in my mouth. Again.

I see, most humans who've ever lived are mistaken and when they talk to and beseech invisible beings that do not exist, they are mistaken and not deluded.

Huh? There are countless lurkers and also posters here who are open-minded and interested in learning about religion. None of them are atheists. PGA.

Ah yes, if only that described you.

Probably the same thing. ;)

Well, I've seen a human being inside the Minnie Mouse costume, so I think I can safely say that Minnie Mouse only exists in cartoon and costume form. Though if I saw what I thought were an actual Minnie Mouse, I may have to change my mind. That's kind of how it works for me.
